It was difficult to follow what was happening at the other end of the corner and at times it was hard to pick out the ball when there are LED advertising boards in the background. For the goal I could see Tommy Cannon preparing for a cross then the ball seemed to have disappeared from my sight . It took a while before I realised that BBD had scored from the cross.

Likewise

Is that a joke. Going mental round me. I thought the fans were great today. Loud and constant both halves.
No, not a joke. Thought it was good all game but down near the front, the goal noise just didn’t seem that loud as usual from behind. My ears can only hear what they hear.

Support was great today.

Bit muted on the goal as it was hard to see what was happening and lots around me didn't realise it had gone in, the view was so bad.

My thoughts also at the time.

Was sat in the home end due to getting a comp off a mate, honestly thought the goal was about to be disallowed because of how quiet our fans were

Me too. Lower tier. Muted celebration but great support throughout

I was in the upper tier so the LED adverts didn't affect me, BUT in general I think they are far too bright at all grounds - especially when they are flashing white and the image is moving around the ground.

I was sat on the 2nd or 3rd row at Pride Park when we lost in 18/19 and I concur that it was impossible to see where the ball was half the time against the backdrop of the advertising holdings. Was a great atmosphere that day though despite the result

I’m glad someone else said this I thought the same 👍

What still amazes me ( And I go to nearly all away games) is the number of people on the concourse when I go to the toilet during the match. Yesterday, went for a pee about 25 minutes in and there were at least 100 people just chatting/messing about on the concourse with no interest in the game whatsoever. With the prices of tickets these days not sure why they bother😳

There are always people who go to matches treating them as social occasions rather than watching the football also there are some who prefer to look at the opposition fans and scream "F*** off" at them rather than watch the football on the pitch. These type of fans have poor knowledge of our players' names.

Being at the front is a bad choice if you can avoid . It’s like a Saga day trip as the gerri brigade get dibs and always choose the front rows . Avoid gangways as the yoof will jam
It up . Mid aged away lads are best 😂👍

Very good vocal support yesterday.non stop most of the afternoon

I probably come in your 'gerri brigade' age group but I like standing and high up in the stand if possible. Yesterday I was lumbered with a youngish bloke who had an enormous calalogue of footballing cliches which he repeated endlessly. He was the font of all knowledge and I imagine he'll eventually be a top manager - at least in his dreams.
I thought the support was pretty good but the tannoy was terrible - couldn't make head or tail of it

I was up near the back yesterday and really enjoyed it. I got lumbered next to a lad in his early 20s with a Stoney on and ended up having a really good chat with him.

The only downside yesterday was a group of cocaine addled children in their mid 30s, more or less barging to the front of the queue singing “We’re Sheffield United and we do what we want”. They seen later in the toilets braying on the door of the cocaine ingestion chamber and shouting at whoever was in to hurry the fuck up

See for me these are the type of cunts that need banishing from football grounds

I was sat with the derby fans almost bang opposite the blades end and the blades were loud almost throughout the game. Derby got a few “come on derby”s going on but were pretty quiet.

On the goal I can see why it was muted as it’s the opposite end and a dodgy angle.
