Brewster lively (8/10 for what he’s being asked to do). I got shot down the other week for saying he’s not a winger/utility forward and it’s unfair to try to play him away from central striker (might as-well pay him off for the effect he’ll have). Lo and behold he’s actually a striker and perhaps one that might do well in this formation/team. Fancy him to potentially grab one second half.

No, he thinks he's a cancer on the club, doesn't try, doesn't care and will be playing L2/none league next season. Some people really don't have a clue about football.

Last game he was saying Brewster wasn't a real man because he let Burrows (a left back) take a penalty, and since Brewster is the striker, he should've demanded to take the penalty. Considering Burrows has scored another penalty today, I think this penalty arrangement is decent.

Also, the idea you could really judge someone's value as a 'man' based off what they do on a football pitch is daft.

It’s no coincidence his best games for us are when he plays as a striker, preferably with someone else up top with him.

You only have to look how bad Burrows was in midfield to see how playing out of position can make a good player look bad. Brewster is on a hiding to nothing because he’s regularly brought on as a sub on the wing. He’s a central striker.

Brewster’s had two games up front and two decent games in a row now. I hope he keeps it up.

We’re all disappointed, fed up, pissed off with how the Brewster transfer has turned out. Not least Brewster himself. What’s gone is gone. He’s been great this recent run of matches. Get behind him. Stop bitching, he plays us. He’s playing well now.

His link up play is often decent, that’s why he can do a job playing deeper and has been tried in midfield.

Again another decent display….scored a goal…which is his job…..so should help his confidence.
However it was an instant reaction well taken goal….not one where’s he has time to think requiring composure.
Also it was noticeable that when Campbell came on in the 2nd half he looked a class above Brewster
his runs and movement were better causing the Swansea defence problems, altho Campbell also has quiet spells.

Would give Brewster 7.5 out of 10 tonight, (not great but good enough) which is better than many of the other players. Well played Rhian.
He’s a team player, committed to the club and always gives his best, that’s should mean something, so we should all support him.

PS: Also let’s not forget that it was Brewsters commitment and speed of thought that drew the foul, that meant they received the red card.
So doesn’t really matter how Brewster played, he was the major reason why we won tonight.

Depends on his performances for the remainder of the season and his fitness record. If he plays 70+ mins in 12+ of the remaining games and gets a goal contribution in 60% of those games, we can talk about an extension.
