Kieffer Moore

The 1 headed goal stat is an absolute joke, and Moore is the main culprit. He seems to have lost his ability to jump. I'm sure I remember him being a much more powerful aerial force

The main culprit is our refusal to cross the ball for people to head. We put in fewer crosses than most teams in the division. I can only assume this is deliberate tactics.

Headed goals are just another dwindling aspect of the modern game.

We may have only scored 1 but half the division have scored 3 or fewer.

Maybe, but the height we've had in the team for so many games + set pieces should more than make up for it

Last night Moore put in one of the most inept performances from a Blades forward I have seen in decades,it was like he was actively trying to avoid getting involved, moved around like somebody trying to avoid traffic while crossing a 6 lane motorway .His body language was like that of an anti football footballer,a dog getting on the pitch would have shown more enthusiasm for getting involved in the action,2 even half decent forwards last night and we would have won that, despite Robinson.

Worse than McBurnie last year vs Burnley in what was at that time the most important game of the season??

I've just looked up the stats for that match. Apart from McBurnie conceding the game at 2-0 down and deserting his team-mates he managed a grand total of 8 passes, 4 of which found a Blades player and no shots.

Moore on the other hand whilst having a very poor game v Sunderland managed 19 passes of which 17 were successful and also 4 shots. Crucially despite being obviously out on his feet he played on to the end

Be careful what you wish for.

I got more than a bit excited when I opened the ‘What’s new’ feature and saw, in bold red letters on the opening page, ‘Keiffer Moore Moving to Australia’

You can’t imagine my disappointment when I realised they were two separate threads 😔

Its all very well Wilder coming out and offering up a defence for him, by disclosing this hernia issue and suggesting that’s why he’s been off the pace for 3 or 4 weeks.

But it does beg the question, why the fuck is he taking a penalty when he’s got a fucking hernia and there are 10 other fully fit players?

He rarely strikes the ball cleanly when he’s fully fit, but he should definitely not have been on pens, with such an injury and Wilder must take some responsibility for that.

If his hernia was such a problem should he have been on the pitch at all ?
As he was on the pitch though.

I have two hernias what should I not be doing.

In the ideal world, no he wouldn’t have been, but Wilder said he was playing through the pain barrier, cos he’s a trooper and the only semi fit striker.

Now onto your second question, here’s my advice, although you clearly a slow learner, unless they both happened simultaneously? Assuming you’re not a professional athlete, avoid heavy lifting, avoid smoking, maintain a healthy weight, take some light exercises like walking or swimming but avoid jumping to conclusions.

If you are a professional athlete, avoid taking penalties against top of the table rivals and stupidly costing your team two valuable points. 😉

Because he scored the last one ?

Can you sort my bent knob out ?

Crazy to think he scored those two goals at Cardiff.

Didn’t McBurnie do something similar last season. Playing on while waiting for similar surgery? He didn’t score many either, because he was always busy defending set pieces at the time. 😉

Moore under heat from missing a penalty
Isidor missed two penalties in the 86th and 97th minute against Burnley today.
But he’s contributing much more to Sunderland than Moore has for us, all round much better player regardless of missing a couple of pens, also unlike Moores penalties Isador’s were both well struck and keeper did well.

I don’t mind Moore but he should be used as a late sub not a starter and I actually don’t think he would be starting if we had other options.

Moores was saved by the keepers foot, Sunderlands were easily saved by hand.

Thoughts on the shithousery of Trafford

If Cooper did it to save 2pens I’d be laughing

Thought neither were pens so wanted him to miss, but Traffords fuckin about made me hope he slams one in and gives him a wink

Ref should have yellowed him on 1st then he either doesn’t do it or gets sent off before 2nd is taken

Would also not allow someone who missed one take 2nd

Cba to read back to see if this is mentioned, but Moore has been carrying a Hernia injury and manned-up to postpone the op whilst TC was out.
