Congratulations, a good place to get some experience with the first team even if he doesn't get on.

However, Clough isn't scared to throw a young 'un in, so he may appear.

Good luck to him & i hope he gets to come on & show us what he can do.

They say the young ones have no fear. Maybe he'll be given a go.

Trouble is, if by some miracle he scores a wonder goal, some big clubs will want to poach him.

He's an attacking midfielder, can play just behind the striker or on either wing. He'd probably do a job up front too, and I've seen him at centre half aswell so he's pretty versatile.

As I said in another thread a few days ago, he's arguably the most naturally gifted player out of our U18s at the moment. It'll be a great experience for him.

80 minutes in and on comes the young Dom Calvert-Lewin with the scores still level. Mcmahon hoofs an aimless ball in the general direction of Porter who manages to flick it on to Calvert-Lewin. He touches it out of his feet, he lets one go AND ITS WENT INTO THE TOP CORNER!!!!!!! THE BLADES ARE WINNING AT VILLA PARK

Fantastic, let's hope him and Diego really push on and we can get some future creativity in the side from players we develop ourselves rather than having to splash out the cash.

You never know, if he does come on and have a big impact there's every likelihood he'd get a chance in the league too.

Well done Dominic!

Clever move by Cloughie, tells the other kids who've just signed pro contracts that if they work hard and do well they'll get a chance and tells the first team players to watch their backs and not get complacent.
