Thanks Roy.

I really think we deserved all 3 points today, it was an incredible effort by all the players, they are really leaving it all out there, & at every coming together I was wincing in case we lost another player. They did build a bit of momentum when Gus went off (hopefully a precaution), but the team defended with their lives it seemed at times.

Support also deserves a mention, was coming over loud & proud on tv.

“Sheffield United had 2 keepers on their bench and 4 players who have never played a first team game. That was an utter, utter disgrace.”

WTF. ☎️
I was a bit baffled by that one too. I assume he means they should have done better because we're in a weakened state. If he didn't then fuck knows.

“Todays result is what happens when a well drilled team meets one that aren’t. One that are happy to do incredibly dull stuff at both ends in order to win, meets one that aren’t.”

Eh?

Eh?
We can do the ugly defending to see the game out, evidently they can't do that.

Cheers Roy! I thought it was a pen but Hamer was definitely onside. Most of them are fair enough comments to be honest and can see why some feel they deserved something but if you look at the chances in the game objectively and look how many attempts both sides had, the fact we defended brilliantly in the second half just gave us that slight edge for me, our keeper didn’t have to do as much as they thought either. They were right about our fans though because they sounded superb.

What a song choice Roy. 👌😁

I think the Watford fans are clutching at straws to be honest nothing at all wrong with either of our goals. The penalty call I feel was correct the ball deflected on to the arm as Burrows was trying to pull his arm behind his back, no intent at all to control the ball I'd be fuming if that was given.
My view of handball is yes if there is a movement to control or deflect the ball, sometimes a player can't get out of the way no matter what they do, all this talk of the arm being in an unnatural position is bollocks have you ever seen anyone run with their arms pinned to their body? We were a bit under the cosh late in the game as they brought on fresh legs when we couldn't but nothing to think they deserved a point, the goal they did score was down to our poor defending.

This is correct and exactly why it wasn't awarded 👍

But we had a £20m player on our bench. Does anyone else realise that we had a £20m player on our bench? I think I'm the first person to realise that we paid £20m for one of our players that was sitting on our bench. I'm so clever that I noticed that we also had a £20m player sat firmly on our bench.

I promised you an in depth analysis so here it is.

That little bakery adjoining the ground was brilliant - I mean who even has that?!

Had without a doubt the best cheese ploughman's ever, the cheese had a kind of crunchy texture but it worked, the bread was a dark wholemeal and so moist and I can't say enough about the compact plastic carton it came in which held the neatly sliced sandwich together neatly prior to eating but then served as a handy receptical to catch every moreish crumb a messy eater like myself might otherwise lose.

At £3.50 well better than anything you could get in Waitrose for more money. Would defo go again.

Cheers roy, thanks for these but have next week off we dont want your typing finger injured for the norwich game
