Dreaming i know but BBD and Cannon up front with Campbell as back up sounds good .Anyway back to reality .
that would be my choice as well despite all the negativity on here with tom cannon our manager obviously rates him bring those 2 in and with moore and campbell that would be as good a 4 strikers to choose from in the championship

Well presumably Burnley and Blackburn aren't serious clubs either, if rumours are to be believed that they are trying to sign him.

The last time he played in this division he got 13 goals across the season. Admittedly that was alongside Ndiaye, but from what I recall his link up play and aerial ability was better than any of the CFs we currently have on the books.

His injury record was a problem, but he wouldn't be starting or playing every game if we have him, Campbell, Moore and One to choose from. Would you not have happily had him on the bench today, considering the options we currently have?
Nope, he was a gangly footed goon who spent most of his time throwing himself to the ground in any 50:50 contest. He admittedly contributed to defending corners, but we’re fine there now thanks.

Our attacking options from the bench on Sunday were Brewster, One and Marsh.

As much as I like the three of them, McBurnie is clearly a superior option to any of them at this level.

Not saying that we are lacking but dear god, there are better options out there than McPub

I thought his worst moment was when he brought it under control in the box and did not look up and lay it off to his left for burrows to run on and smash it at goal … instead he played it back to Davies who has a much more difficult chance of scoring
He just doesn't look up and see what's around him - so many bad decisions

Conventional, lumbering run up
No power
No accuracy

Arguably not the best combination

Doesn't look confident and isn't confident. Every one he's taken has been pathetic

Let Hamer have them. He'll at least kick it hard - that's something

Can he please come off penalties, taken 3 and missed 2.. the 2 he has missed have been absolutely gash no pace no power no accuracy. Poorly taken and akin to a back pass.
The one he scored was similar to today's.

If you're going for that middle section of the goal and you're a professional, is it such a big ask to lift the ball about a yard off the ground?

He can bring some value to the team by doing the amount of minutes Onè currently gets. He’s just not a first choice striker unfortunately. Should’ve never been on pens either & certainly needed taking off after the first one he took.
