Nooo! It's all lies, I tell ya!
See the Spammers are bitching even though they've been gifted the £600m Olympic Stadium.
Official designs for transforming the Olympic Stadium into a football venue have left West Ham fans fearing that what appears to be a massive gap in the seating between the upper and lower tiers behind the goals will wreck the atmosphere on match days.
Poor fuckers. What atmosphere? A few Alf Garnett lookalikes playing with their bubbles?

Going well against the grain here , but ( tin hat time D ) when are we going to stop looking for a fall guy for our own short comings , if we had done the business on the pitch like when we'd spanked west am 3-0 then nothing west ham did would have saved them and we wouldnompartment called the past't have been relegated , we had two bites of the cherry and blew them both , villa away bad tactics , Wigan at home bad luck , since then we've been relegated ( twice ) , west ham have gone down and been promoted , we've lost In 2 play off finals and 1 semi , I have no problem with west ham , just wish we'd shown more bottle for the last couple of games in prem league , or even in any of the play off defeats , seems to be a problem with our club , missing europe , relegation , play offs , always nearly men , hopfully mr Clough will turn the club into getting a winning mentality , because history books don't. Tell people how you won anything just who won and who lost , UTB . Duck & cover time .
It's how we learn from our past , that will govern our future , just thought that with our playoff defeats the club , players , managment would have the exp , to realise were we went wrong in the past , and learn from the mistakes , we can't keep blaming others for how we are now , all the good teams say to themselves right we 're not going to make that mistake again , the team we all care about just keeps fuckin up , Like all Blades just want my team to make me proud to say there name , well more proud than a 3rd division team , and saying some one has to. UTB .For me DB you can keep your head above the parapet . Let's all look ahead, forget the Tevez saga, forget our bad luick, bad play; put it all where it belongs, in the compartment labeled Past
The future's bright. It's red and white.

Disagree WB , your entitled to your view as is everyone one else , I just think if we'd manned the fuckup v wigan , or crystal palce or burnley or wolves or bristol or uddersfield or even yoevil ,then we can stop becoming the millwall of the north by going on about how hard done by we are , looking at this website they are people from all over the world why ? They got up of there arse and had to do it , something I'd wish the players at our club would do , in sir Dave's time we would'nt have needed to go cap in hand to the premier league please sir can we have our place back , no we would have won /lost it on the pitch , the difference between a 10 second race and a football season is the amount of time you have to correct your error's , does that mean the drink linford had was kosher as well .That's like saying that Ben Johnson should have kept his gold and Carl Lewis just should have run faster.

As they say in rugby leave nothing on the pitch and if we had left nothing on the pitch v villa , wigan , than west ham could have fucked right off . As alays UTB .
The Tevez stuff was a perfect smokescreen at the time for what in my opinion was just an extremely unequipped team who weren't cut out for the top flight. Personally I think you can look back at it now and say all things consider we were highly unfortunately not to have stayed in that league considering how weak our team was in comparison to those around us. For me it was all about ambition and the transfer windows, i'm not going to go too deeply into things but I don't think we did enough in strengthening the squad to stay in that league, I don't think we showed enough ambition at boardroom level (again personal opinion) and I would have like to see some real quality come in. I wonder now whether the gamble was to hopefully survive a season and then use the money from that to add quality for the next season and it didn't work.
Of course the whole Tevez thing was bang out of order and they have rightfully been punished for it, whether the punishment was harsh enough but that's another story. But as much as we were hard done by I still think even now, not many people are willing to put their hands up and accept that at the same time we simply weren't good enough and put ourselves into that predicament therefore need to accept a degree of responsibility for our relegation as well.
That's like saying that Ben Johnson should have kept his gold and Carl Lewis just should have run faster.
If all the teams had played by the rules in 2006-07, we would have finished 17th and stayed up. Hence we were good enough.
In football I believe in one thing and one thing only and that is that you carve your own destiny and don't rely on others. A couple more wins on the board and we would have been comfy at the end of the day which in unlucky but I think we missed out on a good chance that season, a bit more ambition and we might have been there a few more seasons.
Every chance I'll break your template here, Linz & Foxy!
9 goals away from home...all season...and anyone expects to stay up???
I rest my case.

Don't get me wrong, there have been plenty of home grown fuck ups since then, but we were shafted.
Some good points made W.B , as always nothing personal , just different views , UTB .Don't get me wrong, there have been plenty of home grown fuck ups since then, but we were shafted.
We got 90 points a few seasons ago still didn't go up , and some people blame Ched for that . For me hang on for a win v pigs at home and don't bottle it at the sty and we would have been up .We got 38 points. Had all teams played by the rules that would have been good enough to stay up. I rest my case.

4 points last 2 games , poor tactics v villa , bit more composure v Wigan =42 points . Fuck what west ham could have done , in fact we would have finished above them , Wigan and Fulham , we scored less than a goal a game also . UTB.There have been many times in the last 45 years when we have snatched disaster from a promising situation. Most of the time that has been through our own incompetence. But not all disasters are the same. Sometimes there are other factors that have nothing to do with our own shortcomings. The 2006-7 season was one such case. Anyone who cannot see that is blind.

True, but there were still other sides with worse away records than us in that division in that season.
Didn't know that
Didn't know that any of the teams that beat us to promotion that year enhanced their performance by cheating.
Not saying they did OB , but the 4 points dropped was the difference between staying were we are , or in the league above , if we look after our own results you don't need to depend on others to do it for you , we'll always get let down hence what happened 06/07 . Or when Chelsea beat us 3-2 and sent us down as well , depending on other people's results . Trust no-one but ourselves always ends in tears otherwise . UTB.
