Delays

Delays should be expected at the ticket office as most people with a ticket card eventually give up and go around to collect the trusty paper one.

Must admit my anxiety levels start rising when I hold my phone up to the contactless reader with these NFC tickets. There's something reassuring about paper! 😆

No, not another takeover thread.

Not sure why though:

Prince outside with a bucket to raise his promotion bonus early?

Rosen giving out “go Sheffield” scarves

Wilder dishing up free sausage rohls

Entry system issues

Stewards on strike

Checks for pyro and people with swear words to distribute

BBC dishing out charlie

New quademic jabs

A lot to choose from…

I think the NFC tickets have not automatically updated.. they have to be done manually but switching updates on and off.. some people my not have noticed

If they put the same metal fences up boxing day with a capacity crowd there will be injuries on the kop turnstiles on john street .whoever thought that was a good idea want sacking . It wasn't police led by the way

It is a poor idea to put up metal fences near the Kop turnstiles that was not the only hassle ten minutes into the first half, in the very back row we got this lady security AF gangway F. came up to demand us to get down from standing on our seats. All the back row not just me. I told her to get the people in the rows in front of us to sit down we will. we stood our ground so to speak. she then told us she would fetch the person who is in charge. so we said got fetch your boss then, who is in charge Two minutes later the bloke came up. I have been ordered by the advisory board to stop all the back row to stop standing on seats. We told him we cannot see past the people in front of us. That is why we stand on our seat.I got down and asked him to stand in front of my seat and he did. I asked can you see past the people in front. Then he said thank you for your feedback and I will let the advisory board know. then fucked off. we must have missed 15 min of the match to get our point across. We think this is another reason why the Kop needs to be sorted. Why should you pay £400 plus for a season ticket just to see someone's back of the head for 90 minutes? you have to stand on your seat. very back row to see the game. The Kop need development but we all know nowts going to happen in the foreseeable future.

Why is there a need for all of the back of the kop to stand, let alone stand on seats?
And why do people feel the need to stand in the gangways as well?

Read my quote properly Swiss Blade I wrote the reason why we have to stand on our seats.nowt to do with people standing in the gangway that a different matter.

Because people want to watch the game with their mates rather than scattered around the kop as individuals. No idea why anyone needs to stand on seats though.

all the back row AF in every section at the back of the KOP have to stand on their seats because fans in the rows in front of us all stand up therefore you can't what the game. I suggest that fans take a look during the game and you will see that this is not bullshit. if you sit in the front row right up to the middle rows on the kop. You don't know about this problem.

Wouldn't this still be a problem if everyone sat down too. I'm tall but the bloke in front of me is taller. I still get the same amount of head sitting or standing!

Not sure why the back row would need to stand on the seats unless the row in front was?

I suggest again buying a ticket for a seat In the very back Row AF I would be interested in whatever feedback anyone can give on here. you try and ask people in front to sit down in front of you get ignored or told to fuck off. you have to see for yourself it is not just me but a lot of fans. looking at the Kop emply it looks good. but when filled the rake is very poor.

This hasn't got anything to do with the barriers on John Street though.
As has been said it makes using the road to walk from Shoreham St to Bramall lane impossible. Can't get thousands of people in opposite directions down the footpath.
What was it all for? Queuing there is normally fine. Sniffer dogs? What's going off?

Are you really short?

I read it. I just don’t understand why they wouldn’t tell the people in front to sit down rather than focus just on the seat standing

Since you’d mentioned the problems at the back I thought I’d mention the other issue of standing in gangways

Blimy Swiss Blade we have asked people in front I am 5ft 9 people taller than me have to stand on seats. yes, the gangways are a problem. that is different to the back-row problem.we have asked people in front of us to sit down 8 rows in front of them are all stood up. By the way, all the fans around me are season ticket holders and have been for over twenty years no question asked about us having to stand on our seats. now some jobs worth is starting to hassle us now.

Why not go closer to the front? Or sit in another stand?! The back of the kop is for supporters who want to stand.

Surely the top row of the kop is THE worst place in the whole ground to pick if you want armchair football!

Do you go to away games? If so how do you get on because no one sits down!
