How long are we giving him before he ‘comes good’. 35, 55, 78 years old? Let’s just buy him a retirement home whilst we’re about it, we can wheel him out as a cheerleader for any promotion’s we might achieve in the next 50 years. This kid will have cost the club by my reckoning, £35 million. For five goals. This is Richard Cadette levels of crap. He needs to be released and soon. The £35k a week wages can be put towards another loan striker for the run in.
He's going nowhere , he needs his weekly wage - we can't just sack him , unfortunately.

The thing I like about Brewdog is how much he makes some of you cry babies whine. Wilder likes him, coaching staff and players like him, he seems like a decent kid but you can't get over your bitterness because the poor fucker's had an absolute nightmare with injuries.

Keep crying, keep bitching, he'll keep picking up his pay packet so it's a win win. I hope he gets fit and whether it's with us or anybody else, I hope he can resurrect his career. As to the whiny boys? Not sure what you'll cry about if Brewdog and the Prince are gone. Maybe look for a new scapegoat, how about Blaster? Young, great prospect, and has a bad injury, fits the bill just right ffs.

Yes
I suggest you educate yourself on mens mental heath issues and suicide rates amongst youmg men
Money doesn't buy happiness
And he's in an industry full of nasty cunts who give out physical and mental abuse several orders of magnitude higher than anything expressed here. We may as well close down the forum on your worldview.

We can’t release him unless we pay him off (or he does the right thing and agrees to walk away without a pay off in lieu of 4 years of shit performances and injuries). Therefore there’s no magical £35k to bring in a loan striker.
You actually despise him, don't you 😂

He’s like a Tyreece but the opposite way… needs a change of scenery

That is just your opinion, Wilder is not one for sentiment either if he didn't think he was good enough he would not be in the team.

Next few games could be crucial in his career if he gets the minutes and manages to back a goal or two we may see him kick on.
Who are you trying to convince? Yourself? He's fucking gash & 99.99% of blades know this but you'll still get the 0.01% club that still think he'll come good with a run of games 😂 and it looks like your in that club.

I like a bit of Irony.
Let’s bitch about bitching.

Two observations:
1. You're his mother.
Or
2. You're sleeping with him.

Now can someone pass me that box of tissues, I'm sobbing my heart out here.

I’ve never met him so it would be OTT to suggest I despise him. I don’t like him as a footballer though.

I think he’s a monumental waste of a squad place at the club and unless he’s going to start contributing quickly I can’t wait for the day when his contract ends. I don’t see the point in playing him at the moment because he’s really bad at football, we need good players and not bad ones. Whether it’s the injury(ies), his mental state, the situation or lack of ability I’m not sure. What I do know is that for all of the “he’ll come good” and “there’s a player in there” statements, there is absolutely no evidence on either of these points during his time at the club. We have defenders who have scored more goals than him in the same or less period of time.

As I’ve repeated numerous times, I don’t want any of our players to be shit, I’d like them all to be good. Hopefully he comes good and proves me and many others wrong. The chances are diminishing by the game though and thankfully he’ll be off the wage bill in the summer if he doesn’t improve.

Well im one who still believes he will do well for us this season, at the moment i think he tries too hard and doesnt let it come naturally, once he gains some confidence the performances will come, wilder wouldnt persevere if the tools were not there , he must be showing it in training and as ive pinned my hopes to the mast i will rejoice when he finally comes good.
Hmmm, the only performance I can imagine is a repeat of his Town hall balcony moment, should we get promoted, with very little contribution on the pitch, where it matters most.
I wish you luck mate but I think your mast is made of bolsa wood🙏👍

I'm amazed that people still think , after five years of abject failure, he is going to come good.
The same people come out with the same stock phrases, 'he just needs a run of games'

It's the opinion of many ,not just one poster. Wilder gave the go ahead for the £24 million transfer, so sentiment doesn't come into it. He has to play him in the forlorn hope he will come good. HE WONT.

But by all means you keep on dreaming.
No need to dream I have belief in Rhian Brewster that he will get his chance.

I wholeheartedly agree with this but sadly there are a lot of ignorant people around that are blind to the serious issues with mental health regardless of wealth.

Neither of those are remotely close Kendo, but two observations from me:
1. You're way too long in the tooth and have been on t'internet message boards much too long to be getting angry any more (Gregg Wallace post springs to mind).
2. Rhian thinks you're a cunt who only played crap music when you were dj'ing. Not sure how he knows as he wasn't even born, my guess is Raul grassed you up but hey, that's just me surmising 😘

That Raul has a lot to answer for!!!!😉😂😂😂

Agree a change might do him good

but it's not quite the same....Tyreece was always rated by most of the Stoke fans...he was a winger there with an eye for goal.....they think in a more attack minded team he would have scored more goals......it was just his recent injury record they didn't like.

Where as here Brewster is rated more for his attitude being a SUFC fan supporting the team and his off field camaraderie, agree he's very likeable.
His on field qualities are he generally strikes a ball cleanly with decent power and he has more to his game than just being striker.
Think that might be the issue now....he's hardly played as striker so totally lost confidence in that position...so he prefers to drop deep.

However my real concern about Brewster happened in the Wrexham cup home match last year.

1: He had a great chance 1st half where the ball fell to him unmarked near the penalty spot.
He had a great chance to score, a proper striker, slows down their minds, sees the goalie on his line and aims a firmly struck pass into one of the corners. However for some reason Brewster panicked and just blasted the ball, straight at their keeper who made a good save.

2: In the 2nd half of the same match Brewster is awarded a penalty.
Again a proper striker, decides what they are going to do before they take their kick and don't chance their mind.
Some firmly pass it into the bottom or top corners or some do a stutter run....hoping the keeper dives early then put it high, down the middle.
I thought Brewster took his pen like a defender well down the order in a penalty shoot out.
Again he seemed to panic and just hit it hard straight at the keeper, who made a good save.

Having technique, a level of calmness and class has nothing to do with being injured/ unfit or missing games. Put it this way, even when Harry Kane is 60 years old (20 years after being retired), his pace, fitness and strength will be shockingly poor but you can bet he'll still show good technique at taking penalties and striking a ball. Wish him well though whatever happens to him. Still hope he comes good at SUFC, isn't Christmas the time for miracles?

The thing that infuriates about Brew Dog say what you want but there is definitely a footballer in there,

He can strike a good shot
He's got a footballers touch for passing at the right weight
He's pretty good at pressing
In the 10 role he's been decent
And he does try

I don't think I've wanted a player to score more than Brew - please let it be tonight.. and the fans all get ON THE PITCH.
