No , the cinema on Herries Road in Southey Green.

Blimey that's taken me right back to my last year at Longley Juniors in 1969 , when they were demolishing it to build a Tesco - used to go up there mooching for old films and stuff
I lived on Longley but went to Shirecliffe, no idea why seeing as Longley Juniors was just down the road from our house. 🤷‍♂️🤦

Got half an hour for Southampton last night. Feels unlikely they'll let him out.

Callum Robinson was still getting regular minutes for us before we loaned him out the January after we signed him, unless Southampton just accept relegation and stick with what they've got, or change manager, it's likely they'll sign players that make Brereton-Diaz's limited minutes even more limited. The only way he's guaranteed to stay with them is if he starts scoring or at least contributing something.

I think with the new investment we need to be looking at better than BBD. Think Liverpool. ;)

Yes but for what we need right now, BBD may be perfect for the short term. We need another attacking option, and he ticks so many boxes on that front.

He was also one of the few players last year who actually adapted to the higher level. He seemed to fit in and get the club. By all accounts he and his family also liked living in the area as well.

Did someone say he has a house up here?

Coulda just imagined it though 😂

dont know why but im pretty confident about bbd coming back here in january and wouldnt be suprised if it isnt signed and sealed already like i said about tommy doyle he suited us and we suited him no brainer

Feels like BBD and Archer are in that camp of too good for the championship (as both of them have been amongst the best in the last few years in the championship) but can't quite make the step up to the premier league, compared to someone like MGW who made the step up quite comfortably.

You could argue that Souttar and Anel are in that category to a slightly lesser extent (good championship but couldn't make the step up to the premier league).

BBD would fit right into our team (both at LW and ST) in the championship where he seems to be struggling for a poor Southampton premier league side.

BBD on a loan to buy would be awesome. Would need Southampton to bring another striker in before it happens I reckon.

Just wonder how much wonga the new boys are gunna chuck at it this Jan window. Statement of intent hopefully.

Another big advantage of signing BBD is the fact that if we do get promoted , he has already proved that he can do it in the PL .

At the time he joined us in the shitshow that was last , I doubt that even the likes of Haaland or Mo Salah would have averaged almost a goal every other game but he did and gave every impression that he got what the Blades are all about and thoroughly enjoyed playing for us .

Southampton have a over spend of 75 m and brought in a extra 15 playing staff so will obviously try to cut out the fringe players ready for their championship budget in the hope of keeping the best 15/20 players
They're very unlikely now to avoid relegation so may be open to sending bbd on a loan to buy in January
I got the feeling the lad enjoyed his time here
I think we all know "if" we do go up it's going to be a real struggle again
Hopefully the new owners will back the recruitment budget to we can at least do better than last season

Last season he scored goals in the PL in a very shit side. So I'm not sure what you're basing "not prem level" on. Last season, he demonstrably was.
There are very few attacking players in the Premier League who can succeed completely independent of the role they are put in, and none of them are going to be playing for United. United played mostly on the counter and used BBD to lead that. It fit his directness and athleticism perfectly. Southampton fuck about with it, then fuck about with it some more, then have a think about how else they are going to fuck about with it.

BBD was good for us but he's not prem level. If we can get him cheap then a good deal but long term the quality we should be looking at especially off the back of the investment and new positivity at the club should be a little higher for me. At this level a good signing.
Scored 1 in 2
Think you're idea of quality is a bit fifa Ish

Could and should have had more too. Missed some absolute sitters & a couple of one on ones.

I really hope it’s a player we’ve at least enquired about to bring back. I can’t see wages being a huge issue if we’re not paying a fee.

Apart from his track record at this level and with us in the Prem, I think in terms of style and attributes, he is the ideal centre forward for the system we play, not ignoring he could comfortably play on either flank in this system as well.

Is there any indication that this could happen? Not seen owt.

Tbh, not seen owt concrete about any potential signings really.

Exactly this. Put him in a side that is able to break quickly and he adds to the overload and can finish. I would love to see him on the left in our set up.

I think it's just another one of those that the fans have decided will happen but never does.

Couldn't agree more. Can't remember the last time we scored so many goals where we turned defense into attack in what seems like a millisecond. The goal on Wednesday was a prize example. Both goals at Coventry as well.
