Best new stadium you've been to?

Kidderminster redeveloped their old ground into a tidy little stadium and because theyve stayed where theyve always played, the spirit and soul has remained.

Just hope we can move into a new home like that one day soon.

But yeah, echo a few others on here, Millennium Stadium the best of the new uns easily, puts Wembley to shame really.
 

Think a common theme is English new builds = shit, continental new builds = decent
 
Left-field, but I was blown away when this stadium finally opened. I was working round the corner so watched it develop, but to finally go in on the open day (night) to look around so season ticket holders of the old stadium choose their new seats was amazing. I miss it, but I know I will feel the same about BDTBL when I lose access to that again, too.

 
Amex Stadium by a country mile. Most civilised well thought out stadium I’ve been to. We were treated like respectable punters and were able to have a drink in the ground after the game, whilst waiting for the next train….Wonderful
 
Fucking non . No soul bowls the lot . Give me Brentford’s old ground with a boozer on each corner , Port Vale and Spotland Rochdale for pie + peas and finally the mighty GIg Lane Bury ( real ale and slab meat and potato pie ) fuck modern

It’s absolute nightmare to get out of. Very limited parking and you can end up waiting over an hour for a train. Incredibly badly planned considering how new it is
 
New York stadium.

A massive upgrade on Millmoor and you are actually close to the pitch and the stands are quite steep

Was there in March when I went back to Perth for a month. Watched WCE against one of the Melbourne teams, can't remember who. Great stadium but no atmosphere - preferred Subi Oval and it'll never be BDTBL.

I went to stadium of light when it was in its infancy, they played some classical music before ko ....hairs stood up on back o neck ....Crowd was loud as f@&k and we got smashed 4-1

From the outside it looks really small - but incredible. I think it might be made of marble? When you go through into the ground though they have dug down miles and it is super modern and MASSIVE. Absolutely incredible.

And you can get beer and bratwurst in your seat!

I went there in 1990 / 1 to see 49 rs v Chicago Bears .......
I've still got no idea how I ended up being at that event ....Absolutely bored out of my nut for 2 hours

I was also really disappointed with the AMEX. It is around 5/6 miles from Brighton and in the middle of nowhere. Fair enough, they lay on free trains but they are so packed you can wait ages before getting one.

But, at the same time, they also keep the bars at the ground open after the game to make stopping around for a bit and not immediately joining the queue at Falmer a realistic option

They do and the beer was reasonably priced last year when I visited. I do think that it is a dreadful location for a football stadium though. There is literally nothing there apart from Falmer train station, a dual carriageway and the AMEX.

Yeah, don't disagree with that in the slightest, more highlighting (for those that have never been) that they do do their best to mitigate the infrastructure limitations
