Brandy worth his place after his suspension is over?

I will try explaining this again but getting yourself sent off stupidly does not make you shit at football. It just makes you unable to play the game.
I never said Brandy was shit at football due to the red cards alone. Overall from the games I've watched Brandy he has failed to deliver in every single one.

Brandy is a tricky call. If Clough can get him under control (he did manage to control Jaimie Ward) and if Brandy can be taught how to be more effective with his pace (crosses, shots not just dribbling round the whole opposition team) then yes. I suspect he'll come back to the bench and probably have some more issues (likely marked by refs now). Clough's patience will be the key, and his comments about discipline when Brandy was last sent off do not auger well for the kid.
Did Jamie ward need controlling ?

Started the move for our first goal of the season, set up King's goal against Crawley. There's two.

Didn't start the move v Notts County but definitely played a part. But you're right, heavily involved with 2 goals in the 12 games he's played in... Ooo I forgot to say he's also missed his fair share of sitters e.g. open net v MK Dons.

How many other got assists under weir ? Not a fucking great deal is your answer.

As far as I'm concerned he did. His pass through to Westlake was the first with attacking intent leading up to that goal. Then again we could just carry on splitting hairs....

He got man of the match in that game and looked our only real threat in about half a dozen games during Weir's reign. If you want to pretend that's not the case because you don't like him that's up to you it doesn't really bother me.

The funny part is that you're knocking the ability of a player that due to his own stupidity on two occasions, hasn't played much at all. Other than McGinn and Maguire, I'm struggling for anyone that has offered more to our general play than Brandy. If you can name any please let me know, it would be good for the laugh more than anything else.

I think he is potentially our best forward thinking player but the amount of times he runs down blind alleys instead of crossing or passing to an available teammate is frustrating to say the least. He also loses possession and forward momentum too easily as he cheats goes to ground as soon as someone is near him(which in effect led to his last sending off). He also needs to control his reactions when tackled and just get on with the game.

If he cuts this out of his game,he will deserve a place in the team but if not,he needs to be moved on

A lot of players run down blind alleys when they have nothing else on. This was a common theme under Weir. Agree about being tackled, needs to calm down and get on with the game. He needs to realise that as a quick, tricky player the opposition will target him a little more than most of our other players.

As for the diving....if he does he's doing what 95% of attacking players do. I don't like the diving and cheating either but it's a part of the game now whether we approve of it or not. I would never endorse such things but if he doesn't dive to win a pen an opposition player will.
