Like the striker situation, I'm not even going to mention the JTW in bringing in needed players for certain players..

Obviously trying to be clever so explain?Bit of a pointless vote. Not one single player will take his place.
I think this is a good call. It'll be Peck/Davies on rotation, with Shackleton chucked in when needed. Rightly or wrongly, I don;t think Wilder wants Hamer in there having to scrap about, he wants him further forward to provide the magic, I think a good loan in there wouldn't go a miss in Jan
i agree with you there hamer and souza would be the best centre midfield partnership in the championship and i think hamer will improve being more involved in the play put o'hare on the left and play moore and campbell up frontI'd like to see Hamer playing there. He hasn't looked quite right playing on the left and I think we'd be better from an attacking perspective with more traditional wingers or wide forwards either side of the striker. But whatever it is that Wilder has done this season has worked so far and he's well within his rights to keep doing it. I think it'll be Peck and I'm quite happy with that.
Voted for all of them. Rotation is key.. Hamer back in his actual position with Davies/Peck as cover please!Like the striker situation, I'm not even going to mention the JTW in bringing in needed players for certain players..
Having mentioned so many options how can the squad be seen as “lacking depth”?Of those three options, I'd be very surprised if it was anyone other than Peck at this moment in time.
Davies might yet prove himself to be the man for that spot, but he would need to prove his fitness first.
Hamer is already having to play elsewhere. While we could move him to take Arblaster's position, all that achieves is us instead having to choose someone to take the LW position. And surprisingly, we have even less cover there than we do for the CMs. Brooks would be the most realistic, but he wouldn't be in keeping with the tactic of inverted wide players. Brewster is injured. Campbell is already playing elsewhere, as is Rak-Sakyi. Burrows could move forward, but that means playing McCallum or RND at left-back, which I'd reckon makes us more frail defensively compared to having Burrows at LB.
Shackleton would be an able deputy, and with Seriki being around, he is not quite so necessary to keep back as cover for Gilchrist.
This is a perfect demonstration of how badly our squad is lacking in depth at present, along with encapsulating how the rebuild we started in the summer is nowhere near finished. Hopefully Peck will thrive alongside Vini, but we need to be taking major care of all the squad right now. Seems like we're absolutely at the limit of what this squad can tolerate in terms of injuries.
Honest to GodI did say this was coming.
Players are not allowed to be outstanding for us and any that are get career ending or career altering injuries.
Souza next, mark my words
Not sure where you've got the 'trying to be clever' part from pal.Obviously trying to be clever so explain?
