Which bits were wrong?
He has no future in league football? Maybe not with us at the end of his contract, but barring a career ending injury I guarantee he will still be playing league football. I get the frustration with his availability and price tag but if you think his ability as a footballer is below league level you know nothing about football.

His next deal might be league one to be fair, wouldn't be surprised for him to end up lower than that fairly quickly after though at all. He's shown absolutely nothing whatsoever in 5 years for us to show he's a championship level player has he? So if I'm a league one club I ain't risking anything on him. Let's all hope I'm wrong but we've been saying this and hoping for years and years.

When we signed him he looked a decent player with a lot to give.

The injuries have crippled him to a stage where his body doesn’t seem capable of being a footballer at the top level.

Heckys injury record here caused a lot of players a lot of damage but it seems to be over now. But I don’t think we will ever see the Brewster we bought all those years ago.

He plays like he's scared to get injured....which he probably is. Don't think he's ever going to live up to his price tag but given time....and support he could turn out to be a decent player for us this season.

I think Wilder is just managing his time.

Need to give him a run up to new year, if no improvement list him in January, get what we can for him instead of running his contract down

Time and support!!!!!!! Let it go mate, he's had 5 tears, he's so bad, such a poor poor footballer. He doesn't get one bit of stick from the stands, that itself is superb support from our fans considering what he brings to the team.

Whilst risking replies of people piling on to slag him off and call him shit, we need Brewster him back. Moore is clearly going to be out for a while in my opinion, based off watching him at Bristol, and Oné can't do a full 90, so we have limited options.

The point of my post..... does anyone have any idea what's wrong with him? Whilst listening to the Wilder press conference today, I watched back the Extended highlights and the Behind the Blades vid for the Blackburn game to see if there was anything significant in the build up to his substitution. He took a foul on the edge of the box early in the second half (subbed after 54 mins), but there was nothing in that and he got up immediately and was fine. There was no footage in either of those vids of what happened just prior to him being subbed. Does anyone have a match video subscription and can see what happened to him? I didn't notice anything specific from the away end.

Wilder mentioned in the post-match that it wasn't his hamstring and "he just got banged on his thigh", and "his thigh was overstretched"

He may be back for tomorrow, but Wilder today said he is in doubt. If he doesn't make the bench, then he has either had a bone crack/fracture or he's done another upper leg muscle.

Anyone any ideas beyond wild guessing?

Its Brewster and we're Blades so itll be what ever the worse thing it could possibly be, im going for spiral fracture to both femurs, bones shards impaled through tendons, infected and blind in one eye

Could also just be Wilder keeping his cards close to his chest/playing games - he said the same with Blaster earlier on in the season before starting him out of the blue, he also sent Moore out to do pre-match press stuff for Wednesday game and then obviosuly he didn't play

True. An I hop so!

The blaster one was different though as he just didn't get asked the right question, so didn't give an update on him, then played him. The Moore one was a massive bluff though 🤣

Think we’ve got a good enough replacement in Campbell.. Oné as a back up to him. Not going to go into the Brewdog debate, but think we’ve got enough to cover whilst Moore is out.

Definitely need a striker in the window though.

Brewster has been out since the Stoke game on 26th October. Is he injured? Completely passed me by if he is

It’s a strange one as I think wilder said that he took a knock and he was close, but was hoping he’d be back for the next game, Blackburn…. Not been seen since

Campbell has already scored more goals for us in 6 games than Brewster has in however many years he's been here. Why are we still even talking about the guy

Are we that worried if he is? He’s just adding a few more nails to his already pretty well nailed coffin now.
Not really, I think the same as you, if this is another lengthy spell on the sidelines I expect he's finished with us now

A friend saw him at a petrol station in Sheffield 2 weeks ago with a pronounced limp. Doesn't augur well for the near future.
