Got to agree with most of them. If I was a Bristol fan I'd walk out of there a bit pissed off but they didn't put the game to bed, we took the chances when needed. Not convincing on our side by any stretch of the imagination but we still ground the result out. Fair enough I suppose.

Last comment about Rob Earnshaw is my favourite, he is by some distance the most annoying pundit I have ever heard. He makes me long for Lee Hendrie’s insightful views.

Not sure about the complaint about time being up and the ref didn’t blow. He had to add on a bit for the red card apart from anything else.

Comments fair. Expected them to say how crap we were and how unlucky they were. They kind of said the first bit but admitted that's why we are better as we find a way. The defending by Bristol was so bad it was untrued. They did like 8 or 9 braindead things from 87 to 97 mins.

As for the time being up - their man getting sent off meant it was more than 7. We scored on 97 and he rightly played another minute or so.

Only heard bits of Rob Earnshaws commentary from the highlights, I watched all the scores on Sky Sports News and we had Gary Rowett covering our game.

GR was to busy talking about why their keeper had punched the ball away under no pressure that he didn't realise One had scored at first.

Watched the first half with a Bristol commentary and all they were wittering on about was parachute payments and we must have a huge wage bill, Premier league players blah blah. The reality is we only have Prem players on loan young uns at that, nowt stopping Bristol getting a few on loan. The bulk of our team otherwise is our academy players five were on the pitch tonight, we started with a free transfer up front too.

Yes. I put it on mute after 15 mins then was turning sound on and off to avoid Earnshaws inane rambling. Why can't Sky simply instruct their co-commentators not to talk incessantly? It spoils the game. Did he think he was on the radio? We could see the game.

Whilst I agree we didn’t do a lot until last few minutes, I thought BC were nothing more than mediocre themselves

They matched us for parts of the game, but the performance we put out for the large part, most teams would’ve matched us

I take solace from the fact we and most other teams can’t play great every match. There’s those “dig in” matches that come around every few games and tonight with 5 changes was one of them

I'd have been disappointed if we hadn't won. They were average. Unfortunately we matched them until they scored.

Earnshaw was incredible. Just rambling on about total nonsense. Had he been on the ale?
I was watching the match at my son's. He and my daughter in law were telling me that they found Earnshaw's commentary irritating. During half time they switched over to Securely Live so that they can listen to Radio Sheffield commentary.

Can I have Natalie's phone number please mate

Quote from BBC site "I blame the bounce around. Should never be done unless we are three up in injury time."

There's no shame in admitting we have a better squad than most in the division because we've been in the PL and have the cash. Bristol City couldn't have picked up O'Hare or Campbell on free transfers if they tried.

He said early on that we expected to be comfortable on the Premier League last season. I don't know who he was speaking too!

They cant complain too much they have done us at Bramall Lane in the Wilder years a couple of times with late winners.

Weimann scored a hatrick in a 3-2 win for them with the winner coming in the 83rd minute...30th Mar 2019

Aidan Flint scored a 90th minute winner in a 2-1 win....8th Dec 2017

Cheers Roy. I had a new bottle of vinegar ready to go with the anticipated salt , but they seem rather level headed. Damn.
