Team slowly regresses to last seasons spineless showing

We lose pretty meekly and all the good work so far is undone
All the good work undone.? 1 defeat against probably the best in the division?
We're in a great position and will be up there with the top gun's.
I was more bothered with the QPR surrender than a loss tonight.
Sleep easy fella, there's a long long way to go.

Annoying thing is if it wasn’t for the idiocy off the field, we’d still be outright top even after that poor showing.

I really hope that 2 points isn’t going to prove significant.

We know there's a long way to go BUT the tactics and the performance was shit, he was commenting on tonight's performance, sleep easy? Stupid commet.

Or indeed the three that we lost this evening. And the two that we threw away against QPR. Events on the field have already cost us far more points than events off them.
I say this not to criticise our on field performances - despite tonight, we are still off to a great start - but to offer a reminder of the bigger perspective beyond the points deduction.

We’re Blades, of course it will. Nailed on we’ll miss second by a point or GD 😉

A team that had its confidence smashed to smithereens has slowly rebuilt it this season culminating in a defensively solid unit with the attacking outlets starting to flourish but Wilder's sent them a message tonight that up against a decent championship team they aren't good enough so we have to set up like Oldham would in the Cup and try and shit house a nil nil
I'm not sure the players will just be able to put that begnd then and carry on

Don’t agree that all of seasons work is undone. We’ve lost to probably best side in league. I just can’t believe wilder didn’t just stick with how we are playing from this season. Might aswell focus on stoke as we hardly get anything up at boro

I’m not sure the hard work has been undone. It’s a simple explanation from Wilder - I got it wrong, I over complicated it. You’re at the top of the league for a reason, believe in yourselves and back to basics on Wednesday night.

If the mindset of the team is so fragile that they can’t get over losing against a really good team then we won’t be anywhere near the top in May.

It’s the message it sends to the squad that I don’t like. We’ve made a great start and confidence must be high, changing the tactics to a negative set up doesn’t show belief in the team.

If a loss of a football game keeps you awake at night you need to have a look around and see the real world. Steve Bruce lost his 4 month old grandson today. Enough said.

Leeds aren't the best in the division. They played a very negative and drab side tonight that I think set out for a nil nil, not really sure but I couldn't see much else that the team and set up tried to achieve. They were fucking gash, sideways, backwards, fall down, roll around. A good side would have done us 4 or 5 tonight, they were lucky to get 2.

Target 1: Clean sheet
Target 2: Anel & Soutter break the world record for pass completions in a season.
Target 3: drop the 1st player to score a brace for God knows how long.
Target 4: drop your best right back for an average midget who played for your opponents. No idea why.

I'm at a loss. 1 shot & a few corners. Negative × 1000

Who are the best team in the division then?

It's one defeat, so in the grand scheme of things, we are still in a fantastic position after 10 games.

We will lose more games this season, sometimes to teams above us, sometimes to teams below us. It happens, and it doesn't worry me. But as the old cliche goes, it's how you lose that matters.

Tonight was a complete surrender, when you consider how dominant we have been in other games. And I don't accept that Leeds are so good that any team has to set up like we did. It was unacceptable in such a big game in my opinion.

We basically tried to do what the Pigs did to us under Luhukay. They rightly got the piss ripped out of them for that, yet they did it better and actually got something for their efforts.

I went to my favorite Aunty's funeral today & i will not sleep tonight. I had a weep with my daughter this week for George Baldock & i won't sleep well tonight.
A very good friend of mine died in an accident at work a few months ago & I won't will lose sleep tonight. A top lad whose boxing career was wrecked by aan accident died this year in his early 30's. A mate was stabbed to death also this year + a cousin died in his early 60's. Who the fuck makes you the arbiter of whether I sleep or not??
Stay in your own happy world.

Football fans are genuinely mental so they are, more up and down than Katie Price’s knickers. First defeat in mid October and there’s a meltdown so there is.

Leeds are nowt special... our shit in the pants performance made um look better than they were. My worry is still Wilder 🤔

Many have mental health issues. Some have traumatic life's with ex's that were violent alcoholics.my daughter lost her mum , the alcoholic (my ex) 8 years ago whe she was 8
I lost a little boy called Jack 21 years ago & not a day goes by when I don't see the tiny 3ft white coffin.
My ex drowned in her own vodka 8 years ago leaving her without a mother at the age of 6 yrs.

My life is awful like 100's of other.
Since covid my social life has collapsed. I work at 61 yrs in a very stressful job & bring up my daughter.
I have sacrificed happiness to bring up my daughter. She began 5elf H@rming 5 yrs ago & it never leaves my mind.

Basically football is a day out for me & my girl. It's my only relief & my mental health wellness depends on the result.

Anyone that judges a person's mental health are probably the type that advise: pull yourself together & there are people worse than you.
When these people commit suic##e are then extremely surprised.

They were average. Not even the best side we have played this year.

The sad face was in reference to the Steve Bruce comment - how do you know my world is happy ?

Thought both ‘full backs’ were poor and really don’t get playing Shackleton for sentimental reasons….the only dud in our recruitment this season. The selection last night summed up CWs ability to mess up a great start, great bloke but tactically inept…

Very poor today, management team got it wrong.
BUT - it’s one game, yes a big game but just 3 points like all the others.
Sure they’ll learn from it going forwards and we’re in a great position.
