First of all well done so far this season 👏

O'Hare is a quality Championship player when he can be bothered. Two of his best games for us last season were against Wolves in the QF and Man Utd in the SF of the FA cup. But he needs to feel loved. Certainly a confidence player.

And back to the previous comments I made on here for him. The tried and tested for O'Hare is AM towards the right and Hamer CM. They have a great understanding with each other. O'Hare is too lightweight to have a battle in midfield but give him a ball to chase and he suddenly turns into a whippet.

Don't write him off. There's a very good player hidden in there. The hard part is finding a system that works for him.

The 2nd half of Cov's season when he returned from injury he was unplayable, scored in every other game, created havoc.

Wilder needs to do what Robbins did to get him firing.

Oh listen, he was the player I wanted, my no 1 target and I was delighted.

But those star shows for cov, I've not seen one yet here..

Not exactly true.

When he came back from injury he hit the ground running. Scored goals like he never had before. Lasted about 7 or 8 games. Then he got dropped from the side after running out of steam.

I saw him at Wembley give Man Poo major headaches. That form will do for me.

Cheers for the view. The issue is that our strongest side at the moment looks like 4-2-3-1. Souza and Arblaster have the midfield two nailed. Hamer is playing in one of the wider attacking mid slots with O’Hare mostly in the centre. Is that not a position O’Hare can play in….? Tonight’s experiment with playing O’Hare and Hamer both as 10s was pretty atrocious.

Nice one, some of us have been saying the same all season, square pegs in round holes. We have lost 1,move on,wise up.

As I said he turned up.for the Wolves and Man Utd games. After the SF game he didn't have a decent game and got dropped.
Are you an agent trying to get him back?

I'll give him another 10 games then I will listen to your offer Mark.

I think 4-2-3-1 suits Arblaster, Souza and Rak-Sakyi.

The other midfielders/forwards/wingers are a bit compromised or a bit of a square peg.

I'm confident some of the issues just take time, it's early days but one or two of them don't show any signs of coming good anytime soon.

Tonight was shite though. Whatever we tried to do it was a bad idea executed badly.

O'Hare is an AM and prefers the right side. Too lightweight to be involved in a battle. Hamer is best at CM.

Problem is, Rak-Sakyi and Brooks are much better suited to play the right side. And so far they've been simply better than O'Hare.

I also don't like that Hamer has to play the left side to accommodate O'Hare. From what I've seen so far Hamer should be the player to build your attack around, not O'Hare.

It's your perogative.

I said what type of player he is and what to expect from him. Got told it was sour grapes. Want him back? No thanks. We've moved on. No more playing a system to fit him in. No more waiting for his 1 in 6 games where he is quality, 3 out of 6 where he is average and 2 out of 6 where he is poor.

But when he is on form not a lot stops him other than having two left feet most of the time.

O'Hare and Hamer play in totally different positions.

He’s been signed to keep Hamer happy here I think..

He’s had precisely two good first half’s this season and the last one was against QPR

What you need to remember is he was out for nearly 2 years with injuries and only came back early this year.

Most of your supporters thought he was a great signing. You saw what he can do when he came back from injury. But it lasted less than 10 games. But YouTube is good at showing the good bits but you never see the games where you forget a player is even on the pitch.

Where have I said he won't turn good? I have more faith in him than the vast majority on here. My point is you thought he was a different player than he is.

Why on you on here? Jesus, get a life

We've been left with a squad that's a bit 4-2-3-1 and a bit 3-5-2. We're 3-5 players away. You can really see that with the likes of O'Hare, the lack of striker options and Hamer on the wing.

As a 10 he is so small he gets easily shepherded off the ball and no matter how many times he ends up on the deck he's not getting a foul because defenders can put him there without committing one.
He can't carry the ball or beat a man like JRS or Brooks , so i don't really know what use he is.
The flawed shape of our attacks is responsible for our lack of goals.

Imagine going on another team's forum on a Friday night just to post shite about a former player of your own club. Are you chained to a radiator and used as a gimp?

A bit of a puzzle, promises much but delivers nowhere near enough. Flatters to deceive, but if we could harness his energy and skill, yes he does have skill,, then we might
have found the player we hoped he would become. Can't fault him for effort, although even this part of his game seems wild and erratic much of the time.

Currently Brewster seems a better choice to press and be a foil to play off Moore, even if Brewster leaves much to be desired due to the lack of an end product. Oh what we could do with a McAtee right now!

On all evidence of this season it beggars belief that O'Hare would get the nod over Rak-Sakyi at this point.
Only thing I can say in O'Hare's defence is that I don't think this is the position he played for Coventry, but who would we drop to accommodate that?

I don't understand how O'Hare often stays on the pitch beyond the point when it's become clear his performance is ineffective

i cant find the thread about giving shirts away, then i posted someone on blades ramble said vini gave his son his shirt but O'Hare said he cant because of a sponsor coming in this was after Luton was O'Hare right or is it just a coincidence?
