Luton looked abject today, completely and utterly devoid of any instruction or intensity to win the game or even draw it. I was surprised, I thought they had a bit of bite about them, seems like they’ve stopped playing for Edwards and wouldn’t be surprised to see him go soon if they don’t start picking up.

I don't think that's true there were periods in the game where they really got stuck into us
I just think they have always been a very basic side that just works the ball out wide and throws crosses in
Admittedly last season barclay gave them a different dimension but their promotion was just built on throwing crosses in and pressing high and everything came off for them but we kept the ball away from.Their press and patiently picked through it

Morris is a player I really like for them and without him as they were today they look average. Surprised that Adebayo has gone off the boil as he scored ten goals in the PL last season.

I've never been sure in Edwards as a manager. He benefitted a lot from the squad that Nathan Jones built. They're no longer the underdogs like they were over recent seasons neither.

I don't mind luton in fairness as a club. It's interesting that at the beginning of the season both Burnley and Luton were fancied a lot more than we were yet we're looking the pick of the relegated sides thus far.

If Luton ate talking money they want to focus on how much Leeds have spent over us!

They’ve clearly lost their edge this year, but we had them at arm’s length for almost the entire game. Just a handful of crosses that might conceivably have bounced the wrong way, but otherwise they had zero say in proceedings.

It’s amazing the progress we’ve made in managing games since losing the script vs QPR.
