Actually an informative read. Where are the morons?

Morning Roygbiv, balanced view for once and not being called Sheffield is a bonus 😀 keep up the great work, appreciated sir 👍🏻

pretty fair comments to be fair , it sounds like two teams solid at the back but lacking in goals , 1-0 Blades I’ll go for ⚔️

A set of balanced and well thought out comments.... This will never do..... I demand to be called "Sheffield" at least once.. . Our ground to be incorrectly referenced twice..(minimum)... . Where's good ole "Bramhall Lane" and my personal fave "Bumhole Stain" when you need them and why has no-one labelled us as "thuggish northerners" 😂 😂 😂

0-0 incoming.

“This is all about balance.. Sheffield Utd have not conceded a goal for 4 games – but having seen them I don’t believe it is because of a fortress defence.
The Blades will invite you in and then destroy you on the break. That has resulted in teams declining the invitation to press them high.
I think (if Cullen is fit) we press them with Cooper and Cullen plus a wide player – but once the press looks unsuccessful we retreat to a lower block with the personnel still goal side.
My concern is that Key and (an even bigger culprit) Tymon get attracted to the press like moths to the flame – and then we will see the space in behind them attacked ruthlessly and at high pace.
The key (pardon the pun) will be the discipline of our wing backs and Grimes and Franco. If they get in behind us – then we need to be ready to take yellow cards to stop them (then potentially sub the card holder.).
They did not beat Norwich Portsmouth or QPR, and we have the opportunity to give them a tough outing if we can keep things tight.”

From their views it seems like this game has a 0-0 draw written all over it. Could do with an early goal

Hopefully they will play in a similar fashion to their last two visits to the Lane when we hammered them 4-0 and 3-0.

What's with all these knowledgable fans? Without checking, I don't even know who manages Swansea, I know it's not that nice Russell Martin who liked to gift us 3 points every time we play his teams.

I went to that FA cup game when we lost 0-3 in 2007.
We were in the PL and they were in league 1 but they totally outclassed us both on and off the pitch.
They played in all white and knocked the ball about with short passing possession football like Real Madrid. They were so good that day I predicted they would move up the leagues playing like that and 5 years later they were regular finishing mid table in the PL.

The gate was almost 16K with Swansea bringing 6K filling the upper and lower tiers. They celebrated every goal like it was their cup final, very noisy fans the whole match in party atmosphere, where as our fans hardly made a noise and didn't seem bothered. Didn't help that pre match Warnock admitted his priority was to stay in the Premier league.

I've been supporting us 50 years and it's probably the most one sided outclassing (combined on the pitch and on the terraces)
I can remember from any away team at the Lane.

Not watched Swansea for a couple of seasons but it’s one of those teams I feel like we do well against more often than not.

They usually try to play attractive football from the back and at home we are usually able to press them into mistakes.

Hopefully a high tempo performance from United. Be nice to see Moore grab one

Newcastle

Didn't Brewster bag the last time we played them? I know he scored when we played them away but not sure if that was the first fixture of the season against them. Or was it Khadra? I know both were involved for sure.

Cheers Roy 👍

Newcastle

Im a season ticket holder but last season there were about 6 matches I couldn't attend due to weddings or on holiday.
I missed Newcastle, Arsenal, Aston Villa, Brighton, in fact most of our thrashings.

Was the whole stadium taken over (noise wise) by the Newcastle fans?
