Wearing Blue to Blades matches

I have a wardrobe made up of dark colours, navy blue is one of them. My expensive coat is also blue, red is a bit garish so I’ll stick to wearing what I want for football and get called a pig if that’s what it comes to!

I’ve also got a Wolves training kit on at the moment as I coach for their academy here, proper heathen me.

I completely get this. You’ve got to show club colours and wearing blue is not on.

My one year old had a thick shit in back of his pants other day and I was fucking spitting how much it resembled IQ of Wednesday fan base

I own blue clothes, but probably won’t wear them to games. My wife thinks I’m a nutter because I refused to use a blue and white striped towel her mother provided me last time we visited. She’s also perplexed as to why I won’t let her buy John West tuna.

Someone I know won’t use the co-op, despite one being the only shop within walking distance from his house.

In short, brownblade is clearly an unhinged lunatic, but I can sympathise, as I’m one too.

Nothing wrong with blue clothing for match days or everyday wear.
I do draw the line at anything which has blue and white stripes though.

Why?

I'd guess about 40% of our fans today were wearing a blue coat or jumper. I even saw some blue glasses.

Our city rivals wear blue. Our opposition today wear blue! I can't understand why our fans turn up wearing anything blue.

I'm sure plenty of people don't think this matters, but isn't it football 101?! We are a red team unless you're wearing an away shirt.

Barely a flicker of red in the away stand today.

I assume this is a tongue in cheek post.

If not get a grip.

I think the OP has tongue firmly pressed in cheek.

That said, it’s gone down almost as bad as the 2017 Browns season brownblade
Well yeah, it's a semi-serious topic. The numerous angry/annoyed responses are absolutely bizarre.

I'll take all feedback onboard though. I'll really learn from this. Then suggest it again next time I get to an away game and everyone's wearing the colour of the home team.

Get a grip? What do people think has happened here? I've re-read my original post - nothing offensive or personal. Merely asking why so many choose to wear the opposition's colours (at the match).

Strike me down for my sins Lord/welcome me to hell Satan.

It's the kind of thing 8 year olds care about 🤣🤣

I refuse to wear blue to games because I hate Wednesday so much. However, I also refuse to wear red, as that's the colour of Forest and Barnsley, who I also hate. Out of all the teams I hate, I hate Leeds the least, so I decided that I'd be ok wearing white to games. The downside of that is that folk think I've deed and I'm a ghost but the upside of that is that I never have trouble finding a spare urinal in a packed bog or getting served on the concourse - unless I fritten the lass behind the counter. Anyways, here's a picture of me about to set off for the Lane last season.

Only you can see me, Brownblade.

I see you, Queen.

Edit: That's a respectful thing kids say, I think.

Would it matter if one was to wear a Navy blue T- Shirt, with jeans and red thong with white stockings under jeans ? Asking forra friend ...................😆
Would need to see the thong with my own eyes.

It's more a certain shade of blue...navy blue is ok.

The only blue I wear is on my rainbow badge.

Oh, and my undercrackers, just in case I do a wet fart!

It’s because like most people, if not all, I buy a winter coat to wear on a daily basis when popping out of the house.

As the vast majority of times I leave the house is not to go to a football match, the colour of said item is immaterial.

On the occasions I go to football matches in winter, I wear my coat as I’d be freezing without it.

I don’t have enough money to buy a specific coat just for football matches.

I would guess this is the same for all those wearing blue coats today.

As it happens, my coat is black.

A sane response, many thanks.

I deliberately wear the colours of the opposition team to wind my son up, so it was blue today. Wore green at Norwich as I didn’t have owt yellow.
