Wearing Blue to Blades matches

I'd guess about 40% of our fans today were wearing a blue coat or jumper. I even saw some blue glasses.

Our city rivals wear blue. Our opposition today wear blue! I can't understand why our fans turn up wearing anything blue.

They sell them in different colours tbf. Technically I didn't mention trousers, as they're not really visible from the pitch or to fans or cameras etc.

Walking to the ground from Portsmouth and Southsea Station I knew roughly which direction to head in. A couple walked past me ( the man wearing a blue t shirt with their son wearing a red (not united colour) shirt. I assumed they were Portsmouth fans so I followed them - thinking they'll know the way.
Eventually lost them in the crowd but having bought myself a drink in the ground, I bumped into them - Blades fans after all

Haha. First of all, how would I already be home? Secondly, how does this conversation stater have anything to do with my wider life?

Never seen a match, in person, or on TV, and thought "wow look at that sea of yellow/red/whatever"? There's a million videos and photos shared since photography was invented suggesting lots of people agree with me me on this.

Why bother with kits at all? Football has a tribal element and our tribe wear red. I'm not suggesting anything crazy or suggesting any banning orders.

I know what you mean mate. I always think about Holland matches when this sort of thing is discussed. There's always a huge bank of orange (which to be fair is down to the fact that they never really change their shirt design!) but always looks impressive.
