Wearing Blue to Blades matches

In terms of day to day clothing, red is a shocking colour to wear. Blue is much nicer
I kind of agree (though tbh wear whatever was on sale when I had to shop)... but what do you wear to a Blades game sir?

Haha. First of all, how would I already be home? Secondly, how does this conversation stater have anything to do with my wider life?

Never seen a match, in person, or on TV, and thought "wow look at that sea of yellow/red/whatever"? There's a million videos and photos shared since photography was invented suggesting lots of people agree with me me on this.

Why bother with kits at all? Football has a tribal element and our tribe wear red. I'm not suggesting anything crazy or suggesting any banning orders.

You are free to put over your own opinion. Good on yer.
I told you not to sit in the home end though 😂

My lad was there with my dad, his grandad. He had a lacoste hoodie that changes colour with the sun. Black in the car, multi coloured later. Pictures will back this up

I just can't imagine even remotely caring about something so meaningless 🤣

Can we delete this thread Foxy ?! Jaysus Christ.

And can we create a forum bluemode option for this lot? 😄

Got blue t-shirts, and in my companies logo is navy blue with white text.

I also wear pink and I’m not gay, and wear grey and I’m not dull (I think)

As long as no one is wearing a Wednesday shirt in our end, couldnt care less what people wear

However is someone is eating a Mr Tom bar, I’ll smack the fucker

Why?

I'd guess about 40% of our fans today were wearing a blue coat or jumper. I even saw some blue glasses.

Our city rivals wear blue. Our opposition today wear blue! I can't understand why our fans turn up wearing anything blue.

I'm sure plenty of people don't think this matters, but isn't it football 101?! We are a red team unless you're wearing an away shirt.

Barely a flicker of red in the away stand today.
I was listening to the match via Bluetooth oh shit !!

Moving back to UK in 2018 and taking my lad to his first game, I told him he couldn’t wear anything blue. Stuck to it ever since. It’s a good rule.

My old mum, who isn’t a football person, comes to an occasional game and always wears something blue, as a request to her deceased Wendy brother, to bring some luck to her grandson’s team. We’ve won every game she’s attended.

Weird thing to get mad about. It’s far more cringeworthy seeing fully grown men wearing a football top that barely fits over their gut.
If that's aimed at me, I'll clarify that I wasn't "getting mad" about it. Pretty lighthearted suggestion... Or so I thought.

I’ll make sure next time I go to the match I’ll wear my red corduroy trousers, to go with my Barbour jacket; and of course my red silk cravat.
