The fan who insists there's no difference between L1 and the Championship, while they sit on 3 points from 6 games is peak football. Even the PL is just football, same game. But as you go up defences make less errors and forwards punish mistakes more often
After 6 games last season they had 12pts and were unbeaten

He also says they're playing less games 🤣. There's 24 teams in both leagues

lol

“as far as big and athletic Down the years, Sheff Utd have always been bigger than Pompey on the pitch, typical northern club.”

Cheers Roygbiv 🍻 another interesting read. Not sure what I've just red 🤔 though. Safe weekend sir 👍🏻

Yes one claiming they ‘outperformed’ Burnley but were beaten by ‘two mistakes in midfield’

Exactly, that’s the difference pal, players make more mistakes the further down the pyramid you go.

The contrast between Pompey and Derby fans comments is huge. Derby appeared knowledgable about both their own side and the opposition, whereas some of these comments are dazzlingly uninformed.

For the first time in years I think we are a Big Physical side, something that we we're in the Premier League and it showed, week in week out. But on top of the physicality, we have the ability on the ball and even the big lads like Moore and Souttar are decent on the deck with the ball.

The first comment about how this isn't much different to League one yet they languise below the pigs is a strange one. 6 games in, but all the same, they've failed to pick up a lot of points and will need to be careful that they don't get trapped down there.

It'll not be an easy game, this league is tough, but we're seeing the first part of the season start to settle down now and it'll be the first game since Preston where we play what can be considered a "struggling" side. I'd hope we have too much for them and we're starting to gel a lot more now as well, but as mattbianco1 says, we do need to be wary

Cheers Roy, think they're expecting another loss, we will hopefully win, but I could see a draw if we don't start scoring soon!
Concede 0 and score 3, I'll be over the fucking moon!!!

COYRAWW!!!!

I feel we were described as ‘big strong and athletic’ even in the days we were starting Steven Quinn, Stefan Scougall and Ryan Flynn…

🙄
I remember being in Derby before our game there and in this particular pub they had some internet channel on with Paul Parker previewing the game.

He described our midfield of Fleck, Duffy, and I forget the other player that day, as 'big and strong as you'd expect from Sheffield United'
