The 2 chances he has had have hit the bar and the post very poor if you ask meTo be fair he didn’t have much to do.
Yet to see him make a save yet
Looks good in possession and comes and collects crosses very well
Let’s hope he doesn’t lose his head like Tracey did on occasion!Reminds me a bit of Simon Tracey in his self confidence and calmness behind the defence.
Fixed that for you. Finally, it's great to have a keeper where we don't shit the bed when the ball comes to him.
Fixed that for you.
Henderson confidence about him. Love it.
It's true Cooper has hardly had anything to do so far.
However for me...the big factor is that the defence looks so much better. That's no coincidence.
Cooper is good with his feet and can kick....playing it long or short with either his left or right foot.
Where as Wes always looked uncomfortable receiving the ball to his feet, and made the odd blunder.
As a unit....the goalie and the defence have an air of commanding confidence about them.
Yeah this is a good shout. Similar stature as well. He’s more Tracey than Henderson I think. Hendo was very in your face. Coops looks to have that steely confidence and shot-stopping ability that Tracey had (except on occasions when running out of his net to try to ‘intercept’ a through ball / decapitate a Center forward).Reminds me a bit of Simon Tracey in his self confidence and calmness behind the defence.
The fact that in the short time that Cooper has been our GK he hasn't had a great deal to do, but this in itself speaks to the levelsIt's true Cooper has hardly had anything to do so far.

Cooper is the biggest upgrade in the team,so relaxed in a key position .To be fair he didn’t have much to do.

His injury has been your good fortune. He was elected the best goalkeeper in the efl which was his breakout season where he was given the number one place. He was being watched etc. The following season he was taken out by your nemesis team but in the half season he played still won league one goalkeeper of the season ahead of Trafford. It was obvious he would go last close season when he only signed a 12 month extension to his contract which covered his injury period. Now why yourselves and not premierahip. Well it was his choice wanting first team football and not wanting to be a number two.I’ve noticed that Cooper is very competent at catching a football too. The ball goes in to the box at set pieces and he actually catches it. Wes always used to punch it clear and Grbic just usually flapped at it. With Cooper the ball goes to his hands and sticks. It’s more noticeable as we haven’t had a goalkeeper who does this.
The only reason I can think is that he wasn’t picked up higher up the food chain is that at 6’ 1” he is relatively small for a goal keeper and if he was a 6’ 5” giant he would probably be elsewhere. Still someone else’s loss is our gain
