They’ve been out to date for awhile now. There’s no way Oli Arblaster is worth 450k, which is what they have him as.Just did a rough totting up using transfermrkt - came to just over £72m....almost a third of which is Rhian Brewster![]()
Home against Portsmouth must be our best run. They last won at the Lane in 55-6. Since then (league and cup) P24 W20 D4.Lots more draws with Bratfut. Same timeframes: since the start of 1983/84: P30 W15 D11 L4. Since 1992: P20 W11 D8 L1.
One hundred billion dollarsOur squad worth more than £146m?
It is the best run by miles. All the other long ones have been knocked off in recent years.Home against Portsmouth must be our best run. They last won at the Lane in 55-6. Since then (league and cup) P24 W20 D4.
They said worth.. What's Rhian Brewster worth? A packet of haribo and a curly wurly? Although if you were looking at net worth and not spend then you could factor Arblaster, Brooks and Rak-Sakyi in thatJust did a rough totting up using transfermrkt - came to just over £72m....almost a third of which is Rhian Brewster![]()
Probably not too far off if you took the below valuations:Our squad worth more than £146m?
“Other than the FA Cup game at ours when did we last beat this lot at home?. That said, tbf, we don’t play them that often.”
1-0 in 2018 wasn't that when Wilder had a rant at the players after the game?
Lost 6-5 on pens,Erik Tonne missed ours?I've got Bradford mates who still cling to the Johnstones Paint (or whatever it was called) match when they beat us on pens at BL in front of about 3500 fans in something like 2013.
Hasn’t he played a handful of sub appearances in the PL a few years ago, 3 part games at Championship level and the rest at League 1 level?Rak-Sakyi (20m)
…And, the naughtiness when United fans ran across the pitch and got into the home terracing on the South side of Boothferry Park - with home fans clambering into the seating behind the terrace for safety - seemed to leave a feeling of antipathy towards us amongst Hull fans.It was a genuine rivalry from about 1979 to 1986, due to playing them a lot, Keith Edwards moving between the teams, and one very, very close promotion race.
They hated us more than the other way around.
Bit early for me that one but always trouble at Hull in the early to late 80s. Think that's where any lingering rivalry comes from.…And, the naughtiness when United fans ran across the pitch and got into the home terracing on the South side of Boothferry Park - with home fans clambering into the seating behind the terrace for safety - seemed to leave a feeling of antipathy towards us amongst Hull fans.
Was it the 1-1 draw in 1976 or the televised 3-2 win in December 1977, when the high jinks occurred?
Corrected them for you.Probably not too far off if you took the below valuations:
Arblaster (146m), Hamer (146m), Rak-Sakyi (146m), Brooks (146m), Souza (146m), Anal (not right now thanks), O’Hare (146m), Gilchrist (146m), Burrows (146m), Copper (146m), Peck (146m), Moore (146m),
Imagine being shithoused about weight by someone from HullThis one seems bit hostile![]()
I remember the events but not the game.…And, the naughtiness when United fans ran across the pitch and got into the home terracing on the South side of Boothferry Park - with home fans clambering into the seating behind the terrace for safety - seemed to leave a feeling of antipathy towards us amongst Hull fans.

In the home game a Deano header was cleared off the line in the first minute, and he hit the bar in the last minute. Nothing of note happened in between, as we were not great and Hull defended well. Thanks Roy. The two 0-0 draws in the 89-90 season live short in the memory as two black holes of utter shitness.
Sorry - I calculated based on what we spent - not on "worth" as thats subjective anyway. In terms of how much the squad actually cost us in transfer fees its circa 72mThey’ve been out to date for awhile now. There’s no way Oli Arblaster is worth 450k, which is what they have him as.
Oh, okay then.Sorry - I calculated based on what we spent - not on "worth" as thats subjective anyway. In terms of how much the squad actually cost us in transfer fees its circa 72m
True - they're guessing then for a pointless argument - likes of Arblaster are worth vastly more to us than any club is currently going to be willing to pay usThey said worth.. What's Rhian Brewster worth? A packet of haribo and a curly wurly? Although if you were looking at net worth and not spend then you could factor Arblaster, Brooks and Rak-Sakyi in that
As I recall that point was enough to send us top, having taken 15 points from our opening 7 games. I remember being surprised at that when I got the Green Un after the game.In the home game a Deano header was cleared off the line in the first minute, and he hit the bar in the last minute. Nothing of note happened in between, as we were not great and Hull defended well.
