Stupid. It's simple, once the ball is in the net it's ours. No-one on the other side is touching it until it's kicked off.
Should be a 30 second rule, team has either the right to kick off if the opposition is on a 3 minute goal celeb, or concedes a free kick on the centre spot if they don't re-start in that time.

What makes me laugh when a team fights to get the ball so they can get a quick restart is that it's our kick off, it makes no difference time wise because we can just amble back to the centre spot, all it is is a demonstration to their fans "look we care"

That’s a good point. In that case the EFL can employ a remote controlled car to bring a new ball on for each kick off

The ball in the goal being put on a rack behind the goal to denote the number of goals scored for that half

i believe from the TV pictures it was Souttar and jebbison, Souttar had a hold of jebbisons shorts and then jebbison went to retaliate then everybody dived in, but it was all a lot of nothing, i think we will have a few this season but that is was we have had over the years, and i prefer a sheff U player to want to be up and ready for every match and have emotion like this shows they care and no one takes the mick with Sheff U cos we will not have it!

No as you cant legally withold wages.

Depends what's written into the contract obviously but fines are normally just for suspensions from accumulation of yellow cards or straight reds.
