Anyone really believe that? Doubt very much Palace tried to double their money after all had been agreed.

Sorry, but no.

Someone is playing to a narrative there.

Agree….wouldn’t surprise me if there were issues with the agent but that creates potential negativity towards the player and his agent….so it’s better to say we’ll need to pay more due to Crystal Palace increasing the price.

We’ll never know the real reason but it doesn’t really matter. He gives us a new dimension in attack, Wilder will be so pleased.

Agreed, I think JRS could be the difference between making the play offs and the autos.
Hopefully you are right. We need to remember he is a young lad moving out of his home area, friends and family.
As I recall none of our “saviours “ in the last few years have looked good at the start, but came good after a few matches. Let’s judge in October.

Just cover for souza,a centre forward and we're set !! See where we are in January
I don’t want to piss on your chips, but Wilder is adamant on proving that Brewster was not a waste of money no matter the cost. Don’t expect an additional striker is my guess unless it’s a cheap loan at the last minute.

No. I personally will have the pitchfork and torch ready and available after 15 minutes. Hit the ground running you expensive morose wunderkind. Fail to score hat trick against pigs and I’ll mispronounce your name badly.

True Snowflake

But I don’t think there’s ever been a loan deal in the Championship where half the league has shown interest in him and been so expensive, just for a loan deal.

JRS has been hyped up as the next big thing. Palace refuse to sell him. A lot of neutral football experts are fascinated to see if he’s the real deal or not. So it’s nothing like the previous loans we’ve brought in.

The only issue is that playing as winger is a very confidence based position. Remember Campbell-Rice, brilliant in 1 game, poor in the next 4. So agree, he’s likely to be inconsistent and could struggle in some matches, so he needs our support.

Don't think anyone places that much importance on your opinion apart from You

Seems a bit too simplistic, doesn’t it?

Wouldn’t be surprised if Leeds have come in for him earlier in the week and we’ve had to sweeten the deal a bit somehow. But I very much doubt palace just said they want it doubled or fuck off.

It’ll be an expensive loan in any case and, although I’m sure Wilder does do a good job of selling the club, we’ve clearly decided we’re willing to pay what it takes to get our targets this summer.

Will be very interesting to find out whether it’s related to the takeover, it’s the prince having another gamble, or Bettis and the new recruitment team have just done some fantastic wheeling and dealing.

Really think he's the difference-maker. Brooks a great option from the bench, but Rak-Sakyi provides so much more, and once he gets in the box, tends to make the best decision.
