Missing paperwork? Bullshit. Even if it was missing and the original was required, his agent could've biked from Sheffield to London (assuming he lives there) and back by now. Even a blind man on a galloping horse can see that a counteroffer has complicated things.

Seriously though, if I was Wilder and planning to use him against QPR you wouldn't know if he had signed until an hour before kick off.
 
I am trying to keep relatively chilled on this.
We know the club takes ages to make the announcements.
I am hoping we see something on socials mid to late afternoon with a message it was all sorted earlier.
He won't play more than 20 mins anyway, so as long as he is ready and raring to go for Norwich then all good with me.
Main thing is that it actually happens, not when.

I'm chilled because if it doesn't happen we don't pay the sky high fee he's reported to be coming on.

What he should do is start the press conference as normal and then halfway through there's a knock at the door of the media room.

Wilder goes "oh sorry, who could that be?"

And then in he walks and shakes his hand and wilder announces he's signed.

That would be just top bants and couldn't possibly make everyone look like twats I'm sure

The thing with Wilder is that he wears his heart on his sleeve.
His positivity, happiness, anger is written all over his face.
Often said when we're winning he has this massive aura of positivity and authority, which is infectious.
However when he's losing he seems to age 5 years and starts to look ill.

At this press conference if he's smiling, happy and upbeat cracking a few jokes.....we know the JRS deal is done.
If he's got his serious head on.....then we know there's still some issues and he won't be available for Saturday.
Obviously Wilder will make sure everything remains positive and suspect he'll say the deal will be done any day now..and he's still joining us.
