More to the point you don't turn up at a clubs cup game against a lower league side if you aren't happy to sign.

I don't know because I'm not a club owner like quite a lot of people on here are (I assume anyway with way they're going on) but I'd wager with Palace wanting to make sure he remains theirs, make sure he gets game time, make sure he can be recalled etc on top of what his agents want, on top of what we want AND then let our social media team tit about filming some ridiculous reveal video, it's going to take as long as it takes.

Could also be that Palace have suffered an injury to a player or someone’s being sold and they want to reassess their options before letting him out

As we know from McBurnie & Ndiaye in recent times, until it's done it's not.

Will be a big shame if we do miss out as you could see how excited Wilder was after the Wrexham game about the prospect of Cooper & JRS coming in.

It could be a number of things;
Palace wanting to keep him until the end of the window in case of injuries, Palace wanting him to sign a new contract before a loan move, Palace pondering selling him to help with FFP (perhaps Leeds have made an improved offer), or JRS might even be having some last minute cold feet after a few days away from London.

Hard to know, but I trust we'll have alternatives in mind and might even find a better option at the end of the window when the PL clubs are finished with their recruitment and players become surplus to requirements.

Its not within our control.

Hopefully not, because I think those are reasons which we would have the least control over.
 
Listening to Wilder on Tuesday, im going for its already done.

The report this morning is to fill column inches and get attention.
It wouldnt even suprise me if the report has been picked up from a post on here, as sometimes i read posts on here and then they are reported in local press a day or so later.

After several years of being a 'glass half empty' Blade, i am now changing to be a 'glass half full' Blade.

Lets see how long that lasts 🙂.

Danny Hall isn't the type to make something up.
He's had a direct line into the club all Summer.

If it was done, it would have been announced. Safe to assume there's been a last minute snag.
 
Does anyone know if he’s been training with the players? Is he at the training ground today?
 

Bloody hell there's some experts on here saying why it's probably not happening yet, it's his agent, he's wanting more money Palace want guarantees, surely all these things were discussed and agreed before he turned up the other day, I wondered if aliens had secretly landed and got involved, only because that scenario hadn't been discussed previously between the clubs, I presume of course, I don't know this for a fact.

The Charlton fans said he hardly smiles and seemed fed up during his time there but it’s obviously his natural demeanor. All that matters is he’s extremely talented and if he produces he’s better than what we’ve got.

Agree about Danny's insight, so it's very weird that he's reporting there is still a hurdle. He is at training. It's all done

Yeah, I was told the contract was done earlier in the week, even before the Wrexham game. Maybe there's a hurdle to overcome to do the announcement the way we want, but not the contract. Maybe it's also to keep QPR on their toes
