Don’t blame him for wanting to leave. Plymouth pure dogshit.

Can’t believe the gap between the Premier League and the Championship.

Think SW look poor but Plymouth are truely shocking. Think they are actually worse than a really poor Preston team.

Even at this early stage Plymouth have relegation written all over them.

A couple of half decent players but Rooney has no clue how to set them up. Definite relegation candidates under him. UTB

Hope Rooneys still manager when we play Plymouth, hope we're not down to play them in 3 weeks or we will probably miss out

Kudos to the poster who said in shoutbox that Adam Davies’ save with his boot vs PNE was like watching one of us taking our turn in goal in 5-a-sides.

On that basis alone I’m personally sanctioning £4m for Cooper. 👍
Have you never seen any world-class goalies save by sticking their foot in the path of the ball before?

Good Morning, just a opinion of Cooper from an Argyle fans view with a bit of background information about him.
The first thing about him is the injury which came at an unfortunate time. He was taken out midair by your neighbors and landed badly with his acl gone. That season whilst only playing half a season he still beat Trafford as league one goalkeeper of the season. The season before was voted EFL goalkeeper for team of the season and league one goalkeeper again beating Trafford and banana. So what is he worth now. Whilst you look at him to propel you to promotion we look at the points he could gain us to stop relegation. The difference in monies next season could be around 8 million. We won't get that sum and with keepers like Rushworth going on loan he could be replaced for the season. Now there are meant to be two other teams interested in him both premiership that are prepared to pay what Argyle want. One of them is Palace to replace the departing Sam Johnston. Both teams he will only be a number two whereas he wants to be a number one, hence his preference for you. The opinion is that if you won't pay the asking price the premiership clubs will as its a cheap homegrown player for their squads. This puts Cooper in an awkward position of what to do. If nobody meets Argyles valuation we'll they are run as a sustainable club and if we lose him for nothing but retain our championship status that could be more beneficial than a low transfer fee.
I think you might need to sell just to get some players in to give you a chance, either that or to pay Rooney off as he’s abysmal. Possibly the worse display I’ve seen in years.

Said Wednesday look poor when that’s not accurate, meant to say they dont look anything special at all and based on that will be comfortable mid table.

Some of the Plymouth defending was so amateurish, no understanding whatsoever. Wednesday had so much space all over the pitch.

Surely basic marking and shape is down to Rooneys tactics. Can’t see him being there long, what a disaster of an appointment.

Same everywhere he goes, just a wank Frank Lampard.....

Agree

Its frightening isn't it

Worlds and world apart

I find it offensive to managers at clubs up and down the country that people like Rooney, who let’s be fair was hardly the brightest spark as a player, would be considered a manager simply because they played at a high level.
Yes he may have done some badges, but the lads as dense as a Boxing day turd.
Lampard much the same.

Get out there, drop the leagues and earn your stripes.

I agree that some players get opportunities because of their success as players. However calling them dense because they aren't a success says more about you than them. If you research Lampard for example I think he is far from dense.

It’s been happening for decades, big name players have always found it easier to get a top job.

I don’t see why Lampard should’ve turned down the Chelsea job because he’s not managed in the lower leagues. He’s be stupid to not accept it.

Classic. Dense as a Boxing Day Turd. Deserves immortality somehow somewhere

No…not dense cos he’s a poor manager…dense in general.
You only had to listen to his punditry recently to see it but a lad who was caught shagging granny prostitutes…suggests he’s not the sharpest tool given who he was at the time. That and a whole host of similar “activities” since sadly let him down in the intellect stakes.

Good football managers are bright. Sharp. Good talkers and motivators.
Rooney is not.

I haven't a clue whether what you say about Rooney is true or not. However you references Lampard in the same post.
