I don't know why anyone would consider Hull over us or Leeds to be honest. I'd imagine Leeds would be his first choice considering their prospects but if they won't guarantee him the game time then there's no reason to not come here. I do want him but as long as he's going to put the time in. I'm not interested in having a class player who may or may not turn up. I'd much rather a lesser quality player putting in a shift every match

The 1 mill promotion fee isn't a biggy as if he helps us get promoted that fee pays for itself 50 times over.

Today, I saw a copy of a Twitter page where Alfie Gilchriest posted that he really enjoyed his debut for Sheffield Utd and it feels great to start the season with a win......then you could see that Rak-Sakyi replied with the fire emoji.

Gilchriest is from Chelsea FC, London, so maybe there know each other?

Regards the match against PNE, there were times when Brooks was in acres of space on the right wing with 1 player to beat.
Brooks made a decent effort at it and played really well in the 2nd half but he's not a natural winger and never looked a goal threat.
Kept thinking how JRS would have performed with so much space, him up against a loan fullback.

Rak-Sakyi is a kid, as is Brooks. It's a long season and the forward options will be rotated.
Brooks can cover a number of different positions, including more centrally and will get plenty of game time.

Yep exactly. No way a couple of 20 year olds are both fit and on form for 50 games in a row. Rotation, competition, different tactics. Happy to have both of them if we can get JRS. Might be the odd few games where it’s a straight choice and someone gets their nose bent out of shape, but if either of them can’t handle that positively then they’re going to find a career in professional football tough in any case.

Watched Souttars pre match interview and he mentioned that he was good friends with a certain Paul Courts, wonder if they crossed paths at Fleetwood when Souttar was there on loan.
