If he watched that tonight surely he’s sat there thinking how many chances he’ll get in Brookes position (after he’s pulled his kegs back up ofc)
That's what I kept thinking when brooks was on the ball. This lad would be shooting where brooks is passing.

It would be a blow if he joins Leeds but if so we'll move onto other targets and I'm still confident that we'll find a decent winger to play in the three behind the main striker

He might also have watched us and thought, yep I will have some of that.

Leeds won't be guaranteeing him minutes either. Wherever he goes, he has to fight for a place.

He was alright, one really good moment near the end when Moore should’ve scored but otherwise I thought he slowed us down a touch with always wanting to cut in and play a pass rather than attack his man, but that’s just because he’s not a natural winger
I thought that he was calm ,composed but didn’t get enough of the ball . Thought he was effective when he was brought into the game

Brooks was outstanding in that second half in fairness.
Would be great to get JRS to compete with him and keep the two of them fresh.
Imagine 65 minutes of one and then that other comes on. Be a long day for the opposition LB.
Fingers crossed he liked what he saw.
I think you can see tonight why wide players are important to what Wilder's looking to build... Moore will be a great focal point around the six yard box and attract bodies towards him. If he can't finish himself he'll free up the penalty spot.

I think it's funny how important the wide players are given we have spent years not giving a shit about them.

This guy and Campbell apart from some cover for Moore unless Brewster (might do rihan good to get tips from Moore ) steps up and going forward is complete, cover for blaster/souza and cooper
Do we need another centre half ?

I think with Anel, Robbo, Soutar, Trusty and Gilchrist we have enough CB cover for 2 positions, so personally I would prioritise a specialist RB over another CB.

I know Gilchrist looked good tonight, and Siriki did well when he came on, but our only experienced back up there is Shackleton, and he is already out injured. Plus I expect he will need to cover in CM as well.

Totally disagree. I think that’s his perfect position and he played it how it should be played.

Brooks was brilliant tonight, he's still learning remember, he squared Moore perfectly, only for him to hash his chance.
He got the ball well, won and held it well, set up Arblaster with a nice assist, he did really really well.
