Henderson is going to look very silly now if he doesn't come here, having posted what he did on insta, which pretty much said it was all done without explicitly stating it.

The news reports up until later yesterday also seemed pretty clear until Sky landed that update.

I get that things can change late in the day, and agents are always wheeling for the best deal. I also understand the inevitable Blady anxiety that kicks in at times like this but if he doesn't want to come here, for whatever reason then we are better off without anyway and we will have others lined up.

The Sky update is a red herring I think.

Other clubs might have agreed terms with Palace, but that doesn't guarantee that the player will go to them. The lad's parent club has agreed a deal, and will allow clubs to talk to the player, but that doesn't mean that the player is forced to talk to the clubs.

If he's had us talked up by Hendo already, then he might well already have his mind set on coming here, and anything about Hull or whoever agreeing a deal with Palace becomes a moot point.

I took it as confirmation that he's put in a good word for us and vouched for us as being a great club to play for.
That's miles away from saying he's joining us.

Also how would he know? If a decision was made a few days ago and Sakhi has already told his Palace team mates you would expect something more substantial in the media. Reports saying he's joined us or joining us.....the fans the reports say we're leading the race suggest someone is hoping for an auction to push up the price.
