Missed wilders press conference, any news on who he's made captain this season.

Team of them.
Robbo has had it, Anel and Blaster.
Burrows was Peterborough's, Gilchrist Chelsea's at all youth levels.
Big Harry could and Moore probably has too.
Team of leaders...
But give Blaster the armband.

I'd give it to Hamer, heart of midfield hopefully leading ny example 🤞

Jack Robinson is the obvious candidate but how much is he going to play this season? Wouldn’t even have him in the team tomorrow personally. Not too fond of Arblaster being captain so I’d go with Hamer.

Got to say, I disagree with him there. In comparison to years gone by, we sorely lack real leaders with real grit - Billy, Norwood, Didz, Baldock, Egan, McBurnie, Bash. Who amongst this lot sticks their chest out, and sticks up for the rest? Who of this lot rallies the troops, leads by example, demands an extra ounce of energy, when everyone is dead on their feet? I just don't see it...

I think Souttar,O'Hare and Moore will.

Ohare, Moore, Arblaster, Robinson, Burrows certainly will.
Gilchrist, Souttar, Anel and Hamer aren’t exactly shy either.
And Vini loves a point and shout (his own football needs to be better this year first of all mind)

Jack Robinson, got to be. Don't think he did that much wrong last season and one before? Or was we that bad last year he just didn't stand out as being bad?

Guess we will find that out when Souza points them out....

Be a surprise if it wasn’t Robbo.

Bit of a give away in fact as he’s the only one not name dropped !!!!

Don't forget captains also fine players who step out of line and arrange social activities for the team. I'd suggest JLT or Blaster.

Shouldn’t even be in the team for me, not that I don’t rate him as a defender but with the ball he’s less than ideal. We need ball playing defenders this season because teams will just sit in again.

Robbo will be captain on Fri. No vice captain(s), justified with comments as per what From the pig end said above.
Think it’s about right really.

Can see Robbo losing his place though, so he needs to perform well as a lot of players in the bench will be looking at him.

Think it's more than no one has seen him in a back 4, especially not recently.

He might have been our player of the season but he still had a poor season, even by his own standards.

He has some major technical limitations at elite level, but in terms of heart and commitment, and in making the most of what he has got, then he is second to none. He sets the bar in terms of attitude and application - if he can inspire others to match him in that respect, then we are in for a very good season.

To be honest, looking at players like Robbo, Ozzy and Wes just proves that even squad players can step up and force their way into becoming first team regulars.
