I think we will be up there keep what we have now + cooper and another striker and a right forward UTB

Even though it's hard to say, I don't think we'll be an aimless bottom half side, only way I see us in the bottom half is if things totally fall apart and we're in real relegation trouble but I don't see that happening. Automatic promotion is the longest of long shots without a goalscorer and more defenders/keeper, but the quality of whoever arrives could make a difference. Play-offs are a long shot but there's usually a team that joins the party late so even if it takes time we might get somewhere in and around them, which seems about right, obviously we won't win them if we do end up there. I'm not sure I'd call 7th-12th should have done better, it's respectable and hard to expect more at this point even with how good O'Hare is.

Could end up anywhere between 2nd and 24th

I've discounted 1st because we just don't do that when playing at a decent level

Fancy putting “Play of Glory” as an option..🤣🤣🤣

There wasn’t a 10th - 15th option so went for 7th - 12th

Think a season of consolidation is on the cards, if Gribic plays a lot of games we could be in the mire

We need at least 8 more players at this point

Think you're being a bit premature St Alban.

There's still quite a lot of transfer action to do.
Think this team as it is, will finish mid table-ish..

However if we strengthen like I expect....with a goalie, central defender and right sided attacker plus plenty of soldi squad players
.....then we can make the play-offs.

My main concern is our abysmal injury record...don't think we have strength in depth
and altho we have some great youngsters coming through....dont think it's wise to rely on them too much as usually youngsters tend to be inconsistent.
Also I'm not seeing any signs that Brewster or Osula can score...altho do accept they both have talent....one goal and either could go on a run.

Also when we're eventually taken over....you expect any new owner...to show ambition with expensive signings or ambitious expensive loans.
So based on what I optimistically expect to happen....I'd say playoffs.

Get a few of our targets Cooper, Worral, Di Kana Hoever we have a good shot at automatic. If, big frikn if, we get the take over finalized in time, add a couple of surprises and a couple of good loans that have an impact à la Henderson and Gibbs -White, defo Automatic!! I'm getting back on the Wilder we trust wagon.....for now!!!

Too early to tell yet.

Need another 4/5 in and to keep our better players before I’m getting carried away.

Agreed mate

we’ve brought in some good players in Moore, Burrows O’Hare, and other lads seem capable squad players

We’ve been really successful with loans, Mcatee, Doyle, MGW, Henderson so confident we will strengthen there but these happen late when the EPL clubs buy and release the young lads

Its all relative but the likes of Man City, Liverpool haven’t done any business, arsenal only today so as they get busy fringe players become available and that’s where we can strengthen

Need to get take-over o’er line, feels like in limbo.

Voted 7th-12th although wouldn't call that "should have done better"...

Big rebuild season, I would be happy with 7th-12th looking to continue to strengthen in the following 2 windows for the season after.

On the assumption we bring in the players needed and don’t lose Hamer, somewhere between 2-6.

I think we’ve made some very smart signings, but need more, without losing key players (Anel and Souza aren’t included here). We’ve seen before how poor the Championship is, as a whole, so I’m not overly worried if we have the right mentality.

100% agreed if we went up again we would be dragged into another cycle of having contracted players that are Championship quality and not lower Premier League standard. It’s a difficult one of if a take over happens and there is cash to spend when do the owners spend it. Although the signings made so far are Championship quality we are realistic to know that without another overhaul of the core squad we wouldn’t have a chance of staying up if we got up. Is that a bad thing, I guess could be worse having 1 bad long Premier League season every now and then. But to be even finishing lower half Premier League is going to take some effort and cash
