In theory, but our revenue is significantly down so we will need sale monies to outweigh purchases.

I am so confused because we took a loan against money due for the running costs yet it now feels like Bogle is funding them?

Probably not worth overthinking. We'll probably be running at a loss this season. Therefore, we'll spend as much as the Prince is willing to gamble whilst the takeover's in limbo.

Obviously lots in the air about Souza and Osula. Should happen quickly if and when money drops in. Rushworth second option to loan should we not get the money.
Are you just saying things, or are you passing on info.
Hard to tell 😅

The deal is agreed for Cooper, the signings for others are also being held back by outgoings not going. Info from the club.
Out goings OR a takeover I assume?
Are any close?
Anel?
Souza?
Osula?
Or even the takeover?
Seems crazy that we are agreeing deals without actually having the money, but it's looks like we did with Burrows, and he waited.

If takeover happens this week for instance the money is instantly available, similar to making a big sale.

Uninteresting fact. Club doesn't receive this until the end of the season (hence the loan to help cashflow). If we get promoted, we don't actually receive it at all.
That doesn't sound right, are you sure?
It effectively means a club doesn't receive any money for a whole season.

We lost £30.4m in 2022/23 including any PL payments. Who covered those losses?
22/23 was a Championship season. It will have included accrued costs relating to promotion which would not have been physically paid until the first instalment of the PL cash arrived in our bank account in July. We had £17.1m accrued against creditors in the balance sheet on 30/6/23. That was £12.3m higher than the same point in 2022.
