Exactly, and listening to it I can’t work out why some thought he was going to Leeds, he was just playing the game in an interview.

I like what he has to say on talkSPORT, especially compared to some of the clowns they have on, but using his airtime to try and strike up an auction for his own gain is questionable.

He's still messaging me! He's doubled down saying this is classic Leeds and that quote isn't to be taken as gospel. Saying:
"Leeds have been selling these other journos duds for a while. This the bloke who told us Leeds didn’t accept a bid for Gray!"

My heads spinning but I'm confident this is a Leeds journalist turf war and I'm somehow in the middle.
Confident as well that Burrows will be ours.

It’s what I’d do if I was as a chairman and if I thought it could get the club more money 🤷🏻‍♂️

I still didn’t take his comment as Leeds were in for him though.

MacAnthony never said they'd accepted a bid from Leeds. Journo said "SUFC are doing good business" (paraphrased) and DM said "so are Leeds" (paraphrased).

Then everyone put 2 + 2 and their frilly knickers got well and truly twisted. Like a bunch of twitchy-fannied-bedwetters.
