Frequently used by Mr Weir regarding himself and the fans in his interview. No rapport with the fans , no personality and it looks to me like no rapport with the players. If the turns this he will get my utmost respect ...and surprise.

Given the OTT reaction from some on here, hardly surprising.

If you look at Dazzler's poll, support is split between sack now, another month, or more. Where else do you think such an appalling start and lack of any progress (that's actually flattery) by a club this size in England's third division would have been better received?

So there is a them and us situation?

Desire for rapport and personality over actual substance are a symptom of today's media-obsessed society. Frankly, I couldn't care if he was as dour as Gordon Brown and had the rapport with us like Obama has with Putin. It's irrelevant to the league table.

Ask Andy Murray.

Tough time for Weir can't beat a poor team that had only netted twice before their goal against the Blades.
Now he is faced with Preston,Wolves and Crawley all 3 have netted 14 goals while the Blades are stuck on 5 with zero from any striker.

Actual substance is a key ingredient ,otherwise I would concur.

And we have yet to keep a clean sheet - with the same back four as last season.

It's a big concern. Either his players are playing his system how he wants it and they just aren't being successful doing so, or they are just not putting it in for him.

It's all very well trying to take full responsibility, which is what I *think* he was trying to do in his post-match interview, but we need to see some kind of evidence that he is looking to make us more effective. He makes changes, but never says why, but why not? Take Williams as an example, he plays the first couple and he disappears. I'm not sad about that as I think he's garbage, but explain the reasoning. We hear about Flynn, Murphy and Porter on the piss in town the night before the game, are they all injured? Is it a discipline problem within the squad?

His interview tonight pissed me off with all this 'dressing room chat is sacred' horseshit. It's time to get nasty in public, let us actually know that he's fucking bothered and that he's going to do something about it. If it's shit, say it's shit. If players are tossing it off, out the wage stealing fuckers.

Until today, he's been going on like this is all part of the grand plan and it's going A-OK. And given that we are currently the 64th ranked club in English football, it most certainly is NOT. I'd hate for us to be sacking another manager, but unless he bucks up really quickly, I see no other option as this can't continue.
