Would have been reassured more if Hamer had at least been named on the bench today even if he hadn't played.

If what O’Hare said is true that Hamer was texting him to get him to come then it would seem unlikely.

I would think it’s more due to the fact he’s training hard and we play again Tuesday so he’ll be involved in one or the other.

I don't think we would necessarily want to sell, but if someone meets his release clause then it's up to the player rather than us.

It’s certainly been mentioned in the press in the last week that a number of clubs are prepared to meet it.

If we don't lose him now, and he has the season I expect him to, clubs will come knocking in January anyway. If this takeover gets sorted we might be able to tie him down to a new & improved deal. That's what I am clinging to anyway.

Want Hamer to stay but if the release clause is met and he wants to go, then nothing anyone can do. But, "we" don't know what's going on behind the scenes, situation normal. Hoping we have a replacement lined up if he goes whether permanent or loan. If he stays....we go from doom and gloom to euphoria of expectation.
