Centre forward. Leeds wanted him a couple years ago and they reckon he had a similar profile type to Tammy Abraham, (he tore it up in the championship when he became a regular in that Bristol city side)

Very much a work in progress type and likely to infuriate some of our fan base if he isn't very prolific infront of goal yet. however signing him now seems the wise move to make, to try get him in now rather than allow him to stay in League One, do well this year and what with his contract running out next summer. We'd probably struggle to bring him in from Jan onwards as other clubs with better financials would no doubt be sniffing by that point.

Both Burrows and Jones fit the profile of young players to develop but that was under the PA regime....sort of indicates nowt will change much under the new one?

Both look pretty decent, especially Burrows but it is a gamble.....as we have seen from Wilders previous stint, picking up lower league players sometimes works, (Enda, Leon, Jake Wright for example) and sometimes it doesn't, (Holmes, Leonard, Evans)....

That's my point. Everything is allegedly done and agreed except for actually paying them. So at any point someone else with the money could swoop in and steal the deal from underneath us. If Peterborough were smart they could take advantage of our situation and secure a quick sale elsewhere, potentially for a little bit more money.

This is like me going into a car dealer, liking the car, test driving the car, agreeing on how much I'll pay on finance but then not having the deposit and hoping the dealership won't sell the car for a few weeks while I try to find the money from somewhere. What's that, they sold the car while I was messing them around?

This is almost embarassing for a club of our size and stature and having spent three of the last five seasons in the top flight.

It'd be embarrassing if it was exactly as you'd put it, but it's probably not as straightforward as that, we've got no idea if there's an agreement in place between the clubs, what the player wants, and we have no info as to what discussions have taken place behind closed doors. We don't know if everything is done except for the money, we might have even paid some money for all we know.
