I wasn't saying he lied about how much he was on, he used to boast to lesser opposition players about what he was earning the big headed piggy cunt.

Wally Downes had to be held back in the Cricketers because he went for Palmer because he was giving it billy big bollocks that he’d banked his first million and asking Wally how much he had got. That was the story I was told, loads of players had gone back there for a drink after time when Billy had it.

I meant I’m a bit dubious about what our lad says he’s earning.

Jebbo is very unlikely to be in our starting 11 this coming season.
So why would he sign for us on £5k p/w and get farmed out on loan to an L1 club when he could sign for someone like Everton on £25k p/w and spend the season on loan at a Chamionship club (and get to call himself Daniel Jebbison the Premier League Footballer)?

Very unlikely to be in the starting 11 based off what, that enormous amount of striking talent we still have under contract? Who's starting ahead of him? Besides, if we've only offered him £5k/week then lock this thread up, he's off

He can go for me, we need players on the pitch, not sat in the stands... it's only a game of football and the lad doesn't seem up to running about on the grass and kicking a ball, he never plays!

we should have bit thier hand off for that 5m they offered.
 

I saw Jebbo in person at the NYS stadium a couple of seasons back after our 0-0 draw. He sort of appeared from somewhere and didn’t really bother talking to the fans. When he got to his car there was some vague acknowledgment of us and then he was off.

Bit weird behaviour tbh, me and my mate both said it was like h3 wanted fans to know he was there, but couldn’t be bothered to acknowledge them.

Nowt in it obviously, just thought it was odd to leave among the fans and then sack us off. It doesn’t take a genius to wait five minutes if you don’t want to see anyone.

On topic it’s a bit happy either way for me, he’s got potential but I’ve not seen enough of him to say it would be a huge loss should he decide not to sign.

Nah, he is a miserable fucker.
Which is fine. Most of us on here are. But he's a hero to some kids. People have to put a mask on for their job sometimes, I don't see why a smile, a picture and an autograph is too much for these mega earners at times.
 
How much longer is this going on for ? For f--k sake sign or piss off . Same with McBurnie the club needs to know who will be available and who needs replacing BEFORE pre season .We don't want a repeat of last season ,we are all ready two points down with out having another false start like last year .

The club will be needing to keep an offer on the table until the contract expires for compensation purposes if he moves elsewhere. His contract will not expire before the end of the month, and if he is leaving he has no reason to "piss off" before then. If he has no intention of signing a new deal then the club will already be working on that basis.
