Not an easy read obviously. I know we've had a poor season but I still think the criticism is slightly harsh. There's been many teams who've got a similar points total to us over the years. The PL has got richer and richer in the last five years even more than before, and I think rather than be critical of us they should be looking at the current PL model they should ask whether something needs to change with the model rather than the fact we're crap.

I understand you saying they are behind City, Man Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal, and Chelsea. But to say they are less relevant than Newcastle is downright wrong. Newcastle have had one 4th place finish in the past 18-19 years. Tottenham was in the final of the Champions League 5 years ago. For all the comments Tottenham get for not winning a trophy since 2008, Newcastle haven't won a single major trophy since 1955.

Rich owners doesn't mean you a more relevant club. Stoke City have some of the richest owners in all of the world, but that doesn't mean they are more relevant than Tottenham. Tottenham generate more money than every single English club other than Man City, Man United, and Liverpool, and are overall 8th in the world for revenue generation.
Newcastle are by far the richest club in the world. It's a completely different scale

Yes, that is true. But doesn't that make Tottenham's rise even more impressive? They have owners who have a comparatively small amount of money relative to their rivals, they routinely spend less money than the Big Six, and their scouting and ability to spot talents has been wonderful over the past decade or so. Newcastle will likely be bigger than Tottenham, and even clubs like Chelsea and Man United, but just not right now. Considering James Maddison could've picked Newcastle, but he chose Tottenham shows how Newcastle are viewed compared to Tottenham at the current moment.

Well, they know fuck all about football, but a lot of them can read what it says online, or copy that jug eared cunt off MOTD!

Season almost done, thank fuck, and I don't give a shit about Tottenham, I'm going to the game to thank and say goodbye to some of our players, that have given me joy and memories over the last few years!!

Thanks again for all your hard work this season Roy, it's been much appreciated by all Blades fans, and we look forward to next season!!!

This isn't a reflection on short term performance. They've been consistent and in seasons where richer clubs have faltered They've done really well.

But it's temporary. The new financial rules are going to see Newcastle etc spend double Spurs. The Saudi influence will be huge. Spurs are a 'normal' club. The others are not

All the money that Newcastle will have at their disposal will change football, you're right. Spurs are also a club of extreme riches with fans all around the world, particularly in Asia, which will always allow them to compete.

Cheers roy, well done for putting yourself through this week in week out ,its hard enough reading them but actually going looking for them its beyond what can be expected. Hopefully good ones again next year

I get what your saying , fair enough . My point / thoughts were about how bloody ungrateful they are for what the've got..LOL .. They could have been born in God's own county and top city.... then they would know about the real downs followed by a few bits of up now and then ...:D.

Spurs win 4-1 on Airports.

Thanks Roy. I'd have given up after Newcastle at home. Appreciate how disheartening it must have been.

ONE TO GO

Cheers Roy, truly a labour of love this season. Your efforts are much appreciated.

Spurs fans change their tunes quickly, start of the season all you heard from them was how Ange was going to take them to the next level and starting winning trophies, now it seems they want him gone 😂

Every time I see people say we are worse than Derby it makes me wonder if they ever saw that Derby team.

Unfortunately platforms like Twitter are flooded with "Fans" of these big 6 teams with questionable ball knowledge and support.

Pretty sure that some of these football YouTubers from the big six don't even go to the games.

Yawn.

Thanks Roy for a great seasons work in a really crap season.
Hopefully there'll be a bit more to cheer and be positive about next season.
As for the Spurs "fans", and their views, they can just bugger off up their own entitled arseholes!!

Absolutely brilliant effort again my friend. Lord knows it must have been hard to muster the enthusiasm at times this season but your contribution to this forum is immense 👏 enjoy your well earned summer break.

Is this the same spurs that needed 18 minutes extra time and three world cup player substitutions to beat us at home..

Tbh that's the day our players knew the game was up, no more plucky upstarts nicking a win against the odds..

Premier league....corrupt as fuck!

Blades are poor this season. Spurs can still be beaten.

Anything is possible, even a win for us.

Thanks for the hard work this season Roy.

ONE TO GO

Under last season’s rules they lost the game at their place.

We can beat them.

Though I can see a 2-2.

Pint of Magnet bought, Andrew.
Thanks for the work you put into this, as hard as it must've been this season 👍
