Evans only had one good season in three anyway. 'How come every player turns into world beaters once they leave' etc ad fucking nauseam.

He was dreadful at Championship level and if we're still in this league once he's out we have bigger problems than whether or not to employ a convicted rapist.

At risk of going over old ground, Messi would have struggled under Blackwell, on his own up front with balls lumped vaguely in the direction of his head.

I know he has a place in Murcia, as my ex son-in-law met him there a couple of years ago and when he said his son is a Blade, Kevin took his number and said he'd phone him and arrange for Jack to have a tour round the ground, which he did, introduced him to Blackwell and the players and took Jack and us round himself. So, I reckon Robbie will get his goodies.

I live in Murcia , and there is a sheffield united junior club in Torrevieja , which is technically in Valenciennes region, but borders on Murcia 15 miles from McCabes place

Personally I don't give a monkey's hangdown what fat boy Samuels thinks about anything. I understand that Ched is keeping fit and, I for one would welcome him back to the Lane. We are not contestants in a popularity league, that's for the likes of the media darlings. Ched will have served his time. Give the guy a break.

My other son in law has a place near Caba Roig and we are off there in September.
 
Whatever K-Mc said or didnt say, personally I haven't the slightest doubt Ched will be back at The Lane. Will he be a success? Who knows? Would I like us to give him a chance? You bet.

As to our reputation, I'm much more concerned that we're widely despised for our shameful years of anti-football than I am about a lad who made a mistake with criminal consequences but has paid the penalty imposed by law.

Kevin McCabe is indeed a nice guy who routinely goes out of his way to speak to fellow Blades.

I went on holiday in 1987 to La Manga (the landstrip separating the Mar Menor from the Med) not the sports club a few miles away and I didn't see anyone remotely connected with the Blades. How about that!

They were, quite rightly, very quiet on the subject at the time but I'm sure his name was in the 'players not retained' list last Summer when his contract was up.

The club were probably as surprised as the rest of us when he was sent down, but I'd be surprised if they have any kind of arrangement in place.

Whoa there, let's rewind a second. Can't believe this went by without any comment.

Are you insane man? She's about as attractive as a tomato soup stain on your best white shirt (and not just a fucking spec somewhere round the side, I'm talking huge bowlful in the chest/stomach area).
I'd sooner go back to a hotel with Evans (Ched, Chris or Linda) than Millican!

Complete guess, but I imagine McCabe has said "When you get out, if you feel you're ready to play football again, consider talking to us first, we'd love to have you back" to which Ched probably said "Yes boss". Nowt binding, but worth a pop.
