Watching that I'm really not sure if the keeper could do anything about any of the goals. Maybe the first, but I think that beats most keepers
Second one for me is not his fault. Defender is nutmegged from about 7 or 8 yards and the ball takes quite a big deflection as his bodyweight is moving the other way. As for the defending, I can't speyk.

Absolutely think the criticism is over the top today. I’ll caveat that by saying that I don’t have much confidence in him but I don’t think today’s loss should be blamed on him at all.

Wilders interview was about players while avoiding taking responsibility for anything. "Tactics didn't lose us the match" The substitutions didn't fucking help did they.
Vini wasn't great but taking him out of midfield for Archer was lunacy. Defensively we are crap and unorganised so why give Burnley an advantage in midfield by leaving it open in front of two centre halves who have no understanding of danger and positioning. Luckily Burnley didn't cop on to it but even in the first half when we were doing OK we had way too much space between Anel and Trusty. One good through ball and we would be fucked.

And what the fuck is he still playing Grbic. I haven't seem him make a decent save yet.

For me, McBurnie is as much to blame as anyone. Missed an absolute sitter at 0-0 and a very presentable chance at 1-3. Very poor today.

Also I hope everyone clamouring for four at the back is ashamed of themselves, that formation was run absolutely ragged. Look at Brereton Diaz attempting to defend for their second for fuck's sake.

Maybe. He should stop the first. After that we know we are in the shit and revert to type.
Contrast him to the Burnley keeper, who apparently is poor normally.

I think a better keeper saves the first - Grbic’s reactions are poor - I’ve seen better reaction speed by 40 year old dads at forum football 🙄 Other than that he’s no chance with the others.

Listen to Wilder's rambling bullshit , almost as incoherent as his breakdown in 2021 - no acceptance of responsibility as manager - we are looking at a long slide down

He doesn’t know he can dive.

Wilder isn’t daft. He sees what we see, but cannot come out and say it publicly.

Changes will happen I’m sure.

One thing is, in order to maximise our value on Grbic and Souza, they have to be in the team. Being a premier league player holds a lot of sway in the transfer market, especially abroad.

Souza now has a year of premier league football to add to the cv that we paid £10m for.

No shame on my end. Maybe playing four at the back with some capable and somewhat reasonable players might yield a better result.

Bogle - average
Anel - garbage
Trusty - garbage
Osborn - tries his hardest in a makeshift position.

Not even starting on the keeper, he gives me hope at 28, I’ll still make a professional football player.

But Wilder knew those were the players available going in, and he did it anyway!

All that ended up happening was that now only were we criminally open, but our best attacker recently, Brereton Diaz, was forced to spend most of his time defending, which he did really badly.

That’s on wilder for thinking he’s pep. He’s done this previously (played players who clearly aren’t up to it) just to prove a point.

Who loses in that situation? It’s not him. It’s the fans, I’d also say having a competent CDM, rather than the makeweight Souza would help a lot too. Entire selection was rotten.
