What if the style of play was similar to Warnock's Blades team in 2002-2003? Or Warnock's QPR team?
Would people be happy to have Warnock back then?
Nope, as I've stated elsewhere I want a new approach. Warnock is a hark back. I want to move forwards with a new progressive manger putting out an exciting progressive team.

Don't come on here with your fancy, new-fangled, namby-pamby notions. This is Sheffield, lad. We live oop North and we like to see yon ball travelling in't saame direction.

Kick it long; Kick it High; Kick it Hard.

Tha' wain't go far wrong wi that! Eh, Neil?

Go get Pulis then.

I'd hate to see a set of 6'4" lads who can run 100M in 12 secs, trap a ball, can head a ball and shoot.

Now that would be crap?

The problem is Pulis' team can't trap a ball, they can head a bit and there shooting ain't too clever either

Oh and they aren't exciting.

Other than that you seem to have identified the perfect candidate. ;)

Pulis is the best at that style of football and will suceed at his next club. Stoke will regret today.
Harsh on his players as well, they are better than what we had when we playted it long and they can be good to watch, you do get entertained.

Not the football I want to watch. I'll happily admit I may not be in the majority but if I'm paying £15-20 a ticket to watch football I want to enjoy watching it not watch the ball being launched into the box.
Personal preference.

Oh, we're in the majority mate. It's just that the Stone Age minority make a lot of noise. The word 'Hoof' is actually derived from the Caveman expression 'Uggh' which of course, in modern parlance, is promounced 'Ugly'.

Not too imminent. He's ruled himself out according to Rob Staton.

Got a 3 year contract at MK Dons, so I guess we wouldn't pay the compensation.

Is this the first of several. McCall decides to stay at Motherwell, Southgate decides to stay doing nothing, Wilder decides to stay at Oxford, and we're left with only Morgan to choose from.

Don't think its a case of wouldn't, I think we were the bargaining chip in order to get a new deal at MK.

So Mr no mark has ruled himself out?

Considering his CV he should be eternally grateful we even looked at him.

Spot on Bath

Sad state of affairs isn't it.

This will become bleaker and bleaker until we accept the innevitable. Morgan is the only option.
What a fecking state

I think this would be a great appointment. And now that McCall has turned us down, I can't see anyone else in the pipeline that I'd be happy with other than Robinson. That's where my money is anyway...

Rumours are Robinson's interview went very well with McCabe, sorry I mean the 3 stooges

You sure? Rumour has it, (as this is a rumour board) he didn't even bother turning up for the interview

Looks like he didn't bother to tell anyone at the club either and the club were ringing his agent only to be told he was staying put after being offered better terms by MKD

What a ******!
