his debut hadnt even finished yet, he had barely been in the country 48hrs & hasnt played since may. & 1 person has already called him shit. nice to see we were giving him time to bed in

Fotheringham will still be No 1 until he gets injured or gets a red card or his contact is not renewed.
Heard he wants too much money and won't sign, whether that's due to the drop upon relegation or just wage, don't know?

Newbury, has he done anything today that Wes can’t? I don’t know why people pussy foot around new signings, especially when he’s evidently been bad
Kicks more accurately and releases the ball quickly, neither of which Wes does.
Whether overall he is a better keeper can only be judged when he has settled in and played a few games.

It’s a sad indictment of modern life isn’t it!? Something is either immediately shit, or amazing.

He was yawning his head off on that welcome interview so is probably knackered from all the travel. That won’t have helped and besides which, only the last goal could be arguably put on him.

5.20 in this YT,not exacty what you say Wilder said.

Not sure that’s the interview where the quote comes from, I just read it from various sources on Twitter that said Wilder said Grbic is his number 1 and will be playing Tuesday and the other three keepers are soon to be out of contract.

It wasn't a great debut however he was amongst Many poor performances. When i read his history i was concerned a few loans for not getting game time. I'm in the camp we are down already why spend this money on a keeper surely the money would be better spent on a cheaper option for the championship. This looks like Olsen to me hope I'm wrong. Time will tell..UTB

can’t we actually sign a player who is maybe ready or er good enough

For £ 24/30 million, as we sold Ramsdale for ?

We are looking at Championship income next season.

Heard it all now writing the guy off after one game even though he has never played a game of English football before.

Some of our so called fans can't wait to try and bring down our players.

Give the lad a break ffs he has just played his first game judge him at the end of the season.

We didn't lose the game because of new keeper and he realy wasn't the weakest (solo) link in the pitch anyways

You look at the side in front of him first, before judging his contribution. Weak as owt, turned over in possession time and again.

Granted, the fifth was weak but he was probably knackered by that point 😂😅

Whilst I would never dream of writing any player off based on a single game , I have to say that his overall performance today was a cause for concern .

I accept that the lad has only been with us for a very short time and barely trained with us etc. , but those factors do not do not mitigate the fact that at first sight , there appear to be a number of flaws in his overall ability and technique .

On the Matchday thread , someone quite perceptively asked the question - “ Why does he seem to lose all height when he dives to one side “? This was certainly the case with the first goal which I don’t believe was in any way unstoppable and this was something he had done a few minutes earlier from a shot from Ferguson and later one from Jao Pedro , both of which fortunately went over the bar .

If you don’t believe me , check out the angle of his body on these three occasions which is that of being almost parallel to the ground when most PL quality goalkeepers would have been much closer to 45 degrees and pushing it over the bar .

Add to that the fact that the ball into the box for the earlier disallowed goal was there for the taking while he remained rooted to his line and his less than impressive attempt to prevent the final goal and you have all the ingredients for a performance which was to say at the very least , less than memorable .

My only crumb of comfort and hope for optimism in this , is that Aaron Ramsdale was equally suspect and unimpressive in his earlier games for us but turned out to be one worth £25 million .

I very much doubt that this will be the outcome in this case , but only time will tell .

I, and several others in the match day thread pointed out his diving technique. He seems to dive too low or get no spring upwards.

It was noticeable from that first Ferguson effort, but would never really have been worth mentioning if he hadn't done it twice more quite soon after.

Time will tell if it's actually an issue, but it did obviously come across as strange to a fair few people.

He did say it in another Interview but I can find it

Apparently it’s a Talksport interview after the game he said it.

If Wilder really did say “he’s my number one” & will play at Palace on Tuesday." I think it's a safe bet that Wes (and certainly Davies) will have played his last game for United. His response will be interesting.

Still at least we won't be in league one. Next season playing in front of the kkk
Only you care about the pigs. You sure your not one of them.

To think of it most threads you post you attack blades fans.
