That team sheet sent a few shudders down my spine.
That said, who the buggery is Simon Letts?
Saltergate, we were helping him get fit , he ran the show . not on trial but not/never our player . Just a spireite trying to get fit .
When Danny Webber signed didn't he try to get him a move here or something also? Sure I saw that on the Neil Warnock documentary that's knocking about on youtube.
Marcus Gayle - can see how you got mixed up![]()
Get thee coatHe’s in rental property these days. Or diaries, I’ve forgotten which.....

Must have been pre-Sniper, or he would never have played professional football againLong enough to get injured then?
Any relation to Simple Simon ?He's the younger, more submissive brother of Simon Says.

Yes, he had a trial with us once
Not a trial, it was a favour for Chesterfield as Dyche had started his progress after a long injury. At the time we played our home reserves matches at SaltergateYes, he had a trial with us once
Including Alan Wright for them, who played for us at centre half under Warnock away at Arsenal, despite being 5’ 4” tall….. we lostThere’s a few blasts from the past on there
Can’t be him. He’s got hair.
Puns aside (which is a genuine struggle for me) he was a really, really talented left sided player, skilful as owt and pretty quick. He ended up at Hallam for a while at either left back or on the wing and absolutely shat on that level. Don't know where he ended up but potentially one of those where he drifted away despite far inferior players making long careers as pros.Funny, thought it looked quite handy in places for reserves!
Blake, Quinn, Hartfield, Veart... always had a soft spot for Rob Scott too.

The most Barnyard summary ever that, you can no longer accuse me of that every time I comment!Puns aside (which is a genuine struggle for me) he was a really, really talented left sided player, skilful as owt and pretty quick.
