....if we had been in Donnys position yesterday [facing a penilty and only needing a point to go up] there is no way we would have had a player stood on the right wing as an outlet.

Everyone would have been back hoping for the penilty miss but with no outlet.
When a Donny player got the ball he KNEW a punt up the right wing was the outlet and look at the outcome.

It's so simple, look at Tranmere and Brentford they both do it and Brentford got the result.

Please try it, it's so simple and keeps some of their players back, off atacking duities.


We would be in the play offs talking bollocks today if we were Donny about it being the football gods. It's not the FG's it just plain simple wrong tatics.

Given Donnys predicament do you think we would have done the same?

If it was us, the penalty would have gone in.

Failing that, the clearance would have been nowhere near, the cross been given offside or full time been blown as we broke down the wing.
