Some say Warnock should be back at the lane. Read this and you just know nothing about him has changed. All starts well then over time it turns to shit.

I'm guessing its all those who want the PASSION back into the club. People need to realise football has moved on since the scuffleasaurus got fired. He still thinks shouting at players, bullying them and having his own personal favourites is how success is achieved. Yesterdays man as someone once sang.

FFS McCabe if you make only one decision it should be not to have this twat back at our club.

After seeing the look on McCabes face when he was asked about Warnock at the press conference Id say theres no way hel be back here while KM is in charge.

Warnock is one of the best things to happen to this club though and calling him a twat is very harsh, to me hes a legend!

I thought people would have calmed down about Warnock by now especially given all the shit we've had to go through since he left

Uncle col's first press conferance, well col glad to be home , always have ,always will be a Blade , hate the pigs , '' nah nah nah he's a blade oh he's a blade'' , the fans are fantastic best I've worked for , we've got a great bunch of lads , who will work there socks off for this club, best I've worked with , this is a massive '' sorry pig word'' club , the best I've worked with , the ref was against us, yawn yawn , blah ,blah, his first two signings the sewer rat spitter, and judas kenny , welcome back col. Don't get me wrong uncle col was good for our club for that time , but that time has come and LONG GONE .

martin please let it go now if not for the sake of your own sanity then for the sake of everyone else on this forum who doesnt think of neil warnock morning noon and night

Well Warnocks ways worked for us, but wasn't going to work for every team. Looks like his downfall was criticising a young player in Tom Lees. Which they highly approve off.

Whether or not Warnock is the right man for the job this time round, people should remember that we could do a LOT worse.

In fact with McCabes record at choosing amnagers I actually might be tempted to go for our Neil, at least you know what you are likely to get...

Relegated.

As Ted Danson says, Warnock has already been ruled out, forget it.

Something I think we should also look at though:

“I found it interesting that he had spent the past two weeks finding out exactly what has gone on at Leeds United for the past three years. I also liked what Brian had to say about players living locally.
“At Reading, they all lived within 10 miles of the club. No-one commuted long distances, whereas at Leeds we have players living 100 miles or more away.”

If we at some point want to build a gradually improving squad with long term success the aim, I think players living locally would be an advantage.

Here's a compromise: A club where Warncok lives 100 miles away.

PS - that was a typo but I've left it in because it says cok which is funny.

Yeah, the Chairman and his wife ringing a player on the team bus telling him to ignore what the manager says.
It's a total mystery to me why Leeds have struggled under Ken Bates?

Kenny ,Brown ,McCall ,Jagielka ,Hulse etc etc semi finals ,promotions excitement flappy arms.
Doyle ,McMahon ,Hill ,Forte ,Porter etc etc ,Div 3 failure , boredom ,folded arms.

Yes fuck off Warnock you twat.
I know living in Worksop this ones going to break your head but that was then and this is now.

Indeed Bergs. A local team for local people (notwithstanding an opportunity to get a giant CB from somewhere in the Potteries of course).

Spot on. Most of the decent Warnock team were from Yorkshire or the North. He had the right idea in signing all the best local 'talent', ie from Weds or Leeds

I dont want Warnock back but I loved the humour in your post!

If I read that article right, he is guilty of being so highly rated that the owners put a "can't sack" clause in his contract, and guilty of criticising a football player. We shouldn't let anyone like that near our club! :)

I don't want Warnock back, but regarding the article, am I missing something?

It's because you think like a "Blade" that you've missed the hidden excitement of this season. You aren't cultured enough, you see.

Hang on, Wilson is a better manager, after all he does have a better win percentage!

Anyone is on a hiding to nothing!

I would have Warnock back at this point. If any club needs a football man to make decisions it's us. Fuck me, it was Sean Bean who got him sacked in the 1st place and some chinese fella pretending to invest who got Blackwell sacked (I would have let him resign after play off final myself).

Morgan could work as 1st team coach and Warnock would be under no illusions that there is less money to spend than last time and we build from the kids upwards and not from kitson and RObson downwards.

The club needs something to give it a spark, so he wouldn't be any worse than Southgate or Parkinson etc;

I'd have Warnock back based on everything but perception - we'd spend our time arguing over him blaming the ref etc. I think the ship has sailed. That said, we will inevitably end up with one of the 99% of no marks that populate football management. The fact that some would prefer that mystifies me - it's probably because they have unrealistic expectations about who we might get.

There are handful of decent managers out there, of which Warnock is one. The rest form an army of monkeys attempting to write a Shakespearean masterpiece. Every so often one gets a line right.

Warnock is a longball man. He knows nothing of proper football. His limitations have been well and truly exposed since he mismanaged us out of the Premiership.

As for the kids, did Ironside fulfil all your expectations today? Did McFadzean?

I really worry that some of you are as deluded as the Pigs in relation to the 'kids'. It's actually ability that matters, but please continue your obsession with young lads if it gets you through the day,

It's got to be said, they were among our better performers. Ironside especially.

Wishful thinking, I'm afraid. He was poor. Porter would have been criticised for such a performance.

Really? I'm not going to argue as we evidently saw things differently.
