Sheffield the biggest village in the UK were most always look for a reason why something can't be done, not hard to see why we are 50years behind other places, no airport the only mainline railway in the UK that is not electrified, an east west railway that is not worth the name and probably the only large UK city without a complete ring road, but not really surprising seeing the anti car council we have voted for in the last God knows how long. Another one here who was glad to move out of town the only time I return is to watch United, I find it distressing on Saturday lunchtimes to see spice zombies on High st slumped in their own piss and a council worker going round shovelling human excrement out of shop doorways. Years and years of Labour councils have turned a great city in the 70's into something akin to the third world.
